God no, that’s disgusting and I have no desire to experience penile sensory loss.

What about the fact neonatal circumcision is associated with SIDS?

You’ve got a noticeable scar even if you can’t “see” it. Every circumcised penis has a scar and a tan line. Plus the glans is damaged and can’t feel very much.

Who wants to give oral sex to a penis with disfiguring scars? Are you able to feel anything when you’re circumcised?

Why are the harmful consequences of the procedure irrelevant?

The foreskin is the most sensitive part of the penis and every man should get to choose what happens to his. Circumcision has no justifiable health benefits. UTIs are rare in males and easily treatable. Penile cancer is extremely rare. Circumcision is not an effective prophylactic strategy against STDs like HIV, you still have to use a condom.

You can’t say losing something is a non-issue when you never got to experience it. That’s not a convincing argument. Men should be allowed to choose for themselves.

You’re content with penile sensory loss and loss of sexual pleasure?

Yours is the kind of attitude that makes men’s rights a laughing stock. You don’t think penile sensory loss and loss of sexual pleasure are good reasons not to do it? How do you know males don’t remember it on some level? How do you know it doesn’t traumatize? What is the harm in waiting and doing it as an adult if the man wants to?

At least in Finland essentially no parents are batshit crazy enough to have their newborn sons circumcised. Here in America we have a surplus of such nutjobs.

I never understood the argument that being content with something after-the-fact somehow justifies it having been done, not only to you, but to all males. That’s not a convincing argument at all.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
