There’s a duality to everything imo. I think that the points in the comment are actually valid not because men are at fault but because societal norms have created barriers for men in general. The idea that not being self sufficient is emasculating or the fact that women are in fact more vulnerable to sex trafficking are very real aspects of the issue. So while you’re right, there’s clearly a whole other(more important) side to the issue at hand, the things mentioned are also true. I can see why…

My theory is that one of the reasons for this inequality is that women tend to stay in abusive relationships or unwanted situations in order to survive/not be homeless. Like... as women, bc of the way society is set up, we can find any pendejo and put up with a shitty and non ideal situation but at least have a roof over our heads. Idk I can’t relate because thankfully I have family and friends that would come to my aid but if it’s that or the streets then i understand their side bc many people …
