Kindle being a single functional device is such a win! No distractions, just unadulterated knowledge

A Kindle was the best bit of kit that I've bought in the past 5+ years. It's such a win/win. And I now carry around a library of 250 books!

Those decisions will be made by parliament. And this is an advisory referendum, it's non-binding, and parliament chooses whether to accept the result or not. And it's a legal right of parliament, and it's not undemocratic. Obviously ff it were an election, then parliament would be legally bound to accept the result

The petition is processed by the House of Commons Petitions Select Committee Petitions which reach 100,000 signatures are almost always debated. But we may decide not to put a petition forward for debate if the issue has already been debated recently or there’s a debate scheduled for the near future. This shows that the claimed email is probably bogus

Thanks for that

It's not clear who received the money

You're jumping to conclusions. TRP is my 5th most-visited sub, and I'm subscribed to many. This study is of relevance here, and who is to say that I have any more analysis to offer than what the others have already said. And we, of all people, should realise that high link karma will absolutely zero impact on the SMV of an anonymous poster.

Is there supposed to be a link?

Doesn't that concept extend beyond the male / female divide, to what society perceives as valuable / less valuable men. ie wealthy and influential men are undeniably afforded more freedoms and shown more leniencies, than poorer and less influential men. Leaders are protected with the lives of many.

I believe they are trying to compete with the increasingly prevalent porn girl, in the same way that girls tried to become skinny when advertising showed the increasingly normative size zero girl. Also in the same way that girls only get dressed up to compete with each other, rather than trying to impress men.

OP's post was directed at us, as opposed to at BPs. And I don't think there's much chance of changing the views of society. I see it more as being a cruel harsh world out there, and yet we have sufficient knowledge to make things work in our favour.

Saying that society does not give a shit suggests victimhood. But since taking the red pill we are no longer victims. We are marching forward, in full awareness of the challenges faced by relationships and marriage. It's up to us to apply the knowledge we have.

Fully, competition anxiety is key!

I wouldn't advocate their suggestion, but it's worth keeping in mind that she's likely to become more challenging as the years progress. So I think it's better to be aware of the challenges in an LTR. relationshit I hadn't heard that before, it really got me laughing!

Yeah, I think it's typical that she'd gravitate towards one a week, then once a fortnight, then once a month. But it's not often that I'd say no.

Clint Eastwood was the first I'd heard who'd said 'happy wife, happy life'.

Would you say that it's largely about shifting the balance of power in the relationship? Not allowing for a role-reversal, where she'd view her partner as not being man enough as a sexual partner?

That's a great point! I've been there, done that, and entirely agree with what you've said.

Do you know what commitment means?

Easy come, easy go. Someone who's interested in long-term commitment, will obviously not want to give one of the biggest things they have to offer, on the first date.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
