I initially was very skeptical that toxic masculinity was even a thing but I’ve just seen it a lot, my interpretation of it at least. Toxic masculinity by the definition I know it is men feeling like they can’t express emotion/show weakness due to feeling like they’ve lost part of their masculinity. I’ve seen it come through in men feeling insecure surrounding things that don’t have to do with masculinity (height, income, virgin status) do people really think that it has anything to do with the gender of the person carrying on toxic ideas as to what is masculine? 3	Feminism stops when the truth comes out I thought 1st and even 2nd wave were about equality (correct me if I’m wrong). Women were discouraged from doing “men’s work” and shit yknow. Marital rape was rampant, and non marital, and it wasn’t seen as rape.
