I'm not theorizing. it's the law the vast majority, if not all, US states that for a k-12 teacher to have a sexual relation with a student is statutory rape. In some states that does extend to college but I'm not sure how many. I do not know if any states have laws for the workplace, I don't think any do with the exception of the US military where it's statutory rape for an officer to have sex with enlistee under their command. edit: Here is an example. Also I'm not sure how many states this als…

Yes, I'm clarifying that the charges are not just because he's a minor. It's also because she's his teacher, so it's not just inappropriate because of the age difference.

He could be 18 and it would still legally be statutory rape. Doesn't have to be a minor because she's his teacher at a public school which he has to go to for a diploma so the power dynamic makes it statutory rape.

Even if he was 18 it would still be criminal statutory rape, it's about power dynamics. Because she's his teacher, and he has to go to school. He can't avoid her and she has control over his performance in school. Even if he doesn't realize it this manipulation can have very negative effects on a persons mental health. For example people who have been sexually assault victims are more likely to commit sexual assault. While the exact reason for this isn't know, it's suspected that being a victim …

People are and always will be judgmental. If someone stumbles I don’t give a shit ... majority of people operate this way. Your points are directly contradictory. If you come off as creepy due to inexperience you think people won’t label you a creep? Yeah some people will, the decent ones won't though and how else are you supposed gain experience? Hell you can be experienced, smart, funny, characteristic, good and people still won't like you. But you can't operate being afraid that a few people …

I don't know what experience you're speaking from, but if the group is even half decent adult people they will be working with you to include you in the discussion. Even if you stumble a little people notice and appreciate when someone makes efforts to be prosocial. If they just ran into each other and had a quick discussion yeah don't for yourself in. OP doesn't give much details but I'm guessing they were actively hanging out/with the group for an extended period off time. I think they worst t…

Don't focus on the person you know, don't get on your phone. Force yourself to be social, accept that it will be awkward. Keep an eye out for 1. People you have stuff in common with 2. People trying to help include you in the discussion, usually those will be the more extroverted/aware people. If it's a big group then you can try to have individual asides with people not participating in the main discussion like if they say something that no one else picks up on or you have a follow up question …

This sub tends to repeat itself a lot. Unnaunced in the sense that even really good advice has situation where it work and were it doesn't. Posts often spend little time on this, failing to add contexts or exceptions to their rule. A classic one is who do you focus the conversation on, yourself or the date? Well doing all of one isn't the best, if you just met someone it's good to talk about yourself but you can't do that forever. Unsupported in that many posts don't explain well the reasoning b…

its not that unusual. I guess I should specify. Usually the second date is not under the pretense of fucking and has a decent amount of build up. For me personally though I'm insecure so if we haven't had sex by the second date, i just assume they're not into me. If that's not you though then there is nothing wrong with that. Sometimes making them wait a bit is a good thing, builds tension and anticipation.

most of the dates i have these days are coffee dates where I don't touch them at all. Maybe a goodbye kiss but certainly not always. And the next date is at either my place or theirs and we fuck.

You need both. If you just ask questions it becomes and interview, never ask any questions and you're talking to yourself. What can be smart is asking questions that lead into things your already have answers for / things you're interested in.

Hmm... I spent a lot of time on the internet was like 13-17 just chatting with people and shit. So I guess I kinda got those skills early on. I mean I was cringy but everyone online was cringy back then, even more than now. But to answer you're question, online you do lack those irl ques you would normally use to facilitate discussion. So you have to be more directional with the discussion. Ask questions. Make sure they're how/why question and not yes/no. And here's a trick, ask questions to lea…

If you want to build a report with someone online you pretty much do the same thing you would do texting someone you met in person but you have to give it a longer period of time to build. There's actually research on this. You can build personal relationships online that are just as strong as real life but they always take longer.

She didn't "win" she wasted the same amount of her time as yours. Stop tripping over some crazy lady. You are letting her win if you keep obsessing over this. Also. Don't space every sentence. One, I don't do the mirroring time thing. It's obvious you're doing it after texting someone for a while. Instead I just respond whenever I want, and give myself time to think about what I want to say. Mirroring as a steadfast rule is just going to waste your time and theirs because if they didn't respond for like 8 hours because they were at work then they're going to be in bed by the time you reply and you've missed a whole conversation. A little bit of mirroring isn't bad though, you don't wa…

I went on a date with a girl who wasn't really "my type" once and it ended up going really well. Doesn't hurt to test your horizons and you don't owe anyone anything by going on a date so what's to lose. It might even go better than some other dates if you've ever had issues with getting in your own head. The less you're trying to impress someone the more attractive you appear.

If you want to be her friend than be her friend and maybe she will warm up to you, ya never know. I you don't want to be her friend or think that can't get over your crush of her, than don't be her friend. Don't be her friend just to get with her, and if you do that it will come off as needy and not work.

Well first figure out when a girl wants you to kiss her. If she's invited you to her place you're like pretty much already there. Doesn't hurt to wait a little bit to make sure but things like locking eyes, being receptive to touching, a slow placed and low conversion, there are a lot of tiny hints. After you know they want to kiss you the setup for the kiss really doesn't even matter.

I've had reasonable success with tinder. My trick is putting out soft feelers (like "we should get together this weekend) to see if someone is actually interested in meeting up and put those out there early in the conversation. Some women are on tinder to hookup and some are on there for validation. You don't need to be direct right out the gate but you should figure out what you're both looking for fairly quickly. If you've been talking more than a week and haven't met/don't have plans to meet …

For that reason, I avoid putting myself out there because I fear failure in business. If you're good an being an insurance agent now then you will be good at being an insurance agent later. Put yourself out there, you can always go back and you're still young so you're not losing as much progress as it might feel like. It's always worked for me. I think it works well with younger people like me because it's formulaic, talk at dinner, hold hands at movie, kiss close. It's worked for me every time so far My other go to is coffee, I do this one a lot more now just because it's cheaper and more casual, followed by usually a walk around a park or back to my place if things are going well.

you know what I notice about all these but the last one? Only one location, you should be going to two places at least for a first date. Dinner and a movie, coffee and your place, ice cream and bowling, etc. also for the last one. If she found a boyfriend right after then it might have been something unrelated to you, like she had a guy she knew and wanted to get with. If you're meeting girls on tinder you're always at a disadvantage compared to guys they've me in person.

lol this seems needlessly complicated. Once you've read a girls body language and know she'd be ok with a kiss then you can do literally almost anything to go in for the kiss. Mostly I just do whatever feels right for the setup but one of the best setups I've used for a kiss was saying "I want to kiss you but I don't want to mess it up." Most girls will find this endearing and if they don't object than you know they want you to go for it

This isn't the best place to ask that question. Pretty much the majority of the advice given on here can be applied to female on male flirting. From personal experience I would I'm more likely to with a girl who's less attractive than I'm used to if she has a lot of confidence without being bitchy/rude/vain. Also after you masturbate you're body releases chemicals that actual make you want to do it again which outweighs the loss in sex drive from slightly lower testosterone. Reducing masturbation is good for those who do it too often, use it as replacement for sex, or are porn addicts. Generally though masturbation is a go…

To an extent, going a few month without masturbation be very detrimental sex drive. Not masturbating will slightly increase testosterone and sex drive but maxes out at about a week.

Naw you don't owe anyone an approach. I only really approach at parties and sometimes I won't even approach someone who is giving me the eyes just because I ain't feeling up for any of that stuff atm. And if that hurts their confidence than that's on them, it's called self confidence not "the confidence I get from from other people validating me"

I work and go to classes. My friends who work (full time that is) and we all text fairly often. There is no way you could get someone my age to go out after a handful of text like I see other, early 30's, people on here do.

Same here, I can always kill on text and it works wonders. They guys who say to keep texting to a minimum are probably a bit older, it's a generational thing.

Yeah I know a bit of what it's like to be in this boat so here are some pointer. Lets talk about that party scene real quick. If a girl is giving you the eye, give the eye back. Strong eye contract, if she is reciprocating then you're good she wants you to escalate. Women want attention and want sex just as much men do. So that's when you start to close the gape between two, watch her body language and see if she looks like she is into it. Once your next to her that's the time to say an opener o…

If they don't respond to me I usually go with the "(your name) used (whatever gimmick you used as an open), it's not very effective..."

Put yourself in there shoes. Be polite, be friendly, have fun with it, practice. If after all that they still don't want to talk than that's their dilemma not yours.

I'd like to know to because I've had hookups happen. Usually it's combination of good flirting, making sure the girl feels comfortable and non judged, and good kino but I do feel like mine have always been the result of the girl having that idea before the date really.

I slightly disagree but maybe it's because I'm a younger guy. I respond when I can/want to and natural silences will occur in the texting conversation. I feel it's a pretty easy to tell when someone is forcing waiting in a texting conversations and it's annoying, just talk to each other. Though I can probably agree with not texting for a while once date is set up, just don't let that gap be too long or the interest will die down.

Use the normal stuff, this is mostly about getting practiced and comfortable. Just don't give them the impression your looking for sex until you've built a rapport. They are starving for good sex.

RSD Tyler recommends this. They don't need to be morbidly obese but I've hooked up with girls below me league just to get some experience.

Having watched several of Tyler's videos, he does make reference that it is very likely he has some form of Autism because he had a lot of trouble with social q's growing up.

Seems pretty simple, she's just not a fan of sarcastic humor. It's not uncommon because different types of humor resonate more with different types of people. Or it could be your delivery. Perhaps she doesn't read sarcasm well and you really need to exaggerate and articulate in a manner that makes it clear your joking. I remember seeing a nifty chart on different types of jokes and delivery but sadly I can't find it right now.

Ugh, not this shit. It's all placebo as bad as homeopathy. Creatures have been masturbating for thousands of years. It's scientifically proven to be health for the sexual organs. Yeah if you're masturbating all the time and using it for a substitute for sex you probably need to cut back but nofap? please.

Browsing forbes is like piloting the fucking International Space Station. There's 13 billion moving parts, like 3 assholes who faces are on my screen for no reason, I need to enter like a 13 digit code to get on the webpage, I think I saw someones TSA report at some point, and I've gotten fucking information overload looking at this shit.

Yeah I remember see that pop up. But he said he approached about 100 in one day, which I don't think op needs to worry about. I also looked through his comment history a bit and he also had a run in with the cops over a drug issue and just didn't seem to all "with it" in general.

Ah the classic Germanic Stare Down. Basically in Germany, unlike most places where we break eye contact every 3-5 seconds, it's considered insincere to not maintain constant unbroken eye contact when talking to someone.

It's a bit of a wide comparison. Op's problem is he's worried about prejudices associated with his facial hair. This guy's problem is he lives in place were religious law prevents him from shaving even though a beard doesn't look good on him. A worthy sentiment but it doesn't really help OP that much.

In France once they showed me to apply cologne by spraying it once on your right wrist, rubbing your left and right wrists together, then dabbing you wrists on your neck in the area kinda behind and below your ears. I don't use cologne often but it seems to be a good application strategy.

It's one thing to get a girls number when she has a boyfriend because that's chill and all but intentionally cheating? Seems kinda sleazy to me, rather just find someone else.

I was diagnosed with mild Asperger syndrome. I suppose, as of right now, I'm not very good at pickup myself but someone I really resonate with is RSDTyler. He talks about his early life a few times and from the sound of it I'm pretty sure he has/had Asperger potential. I've watched a ton of his videos, they really help me get on trace and think, I haven't watched a single one not worth seeing. It's only manipulation if it's unfair, if the rules are fair for both parties and the outcomes are fair for both parties then it's fair. Otherwise it's not manipulation it's just influencing. If a women is more influenced by subtle insults than veneered grovelling than whose fault is that for giving them what they want? I've only seen someone encouraging actual manipulation once on this sub and as far as I'm concerned, as long as you take no for no and aren't manipulating women to do things that…
