Makes sense to me. Feminism in it's current form expresses itself as a form of a raw power play rather than anything along the lines of "fairness". Feminist women may want MOST guys to play along with the power play, but almost no women want a guy that's easy to steamroll, and if you're not easy to steamroll, you see the current form of feminism as the power play it is and reject it. The dating success is downstream of that.

No, you’re having this “issue” is because so many in academia are insufferable and self-righteous. Especially as the proliferation of higher degrees continually inflates and the lack of academic rigor currently systemic in higher education.

You just contradicted yourself. In certain contexts, you would use it. Daily life is not limited to certain contexts. Also, are you 18? Explaining what a doctorate is comes off as juvenile, I ensure you most people understand what a doctorate it.

“This is becoming a pattern” Once again, twitter is not real life lol “ attracted to you may have to give a shit about attracting them.” We get it, women are holier than thou angels who have rose above the carnal desires of humanity and don’t care about validation from the opposite sex. Do you ever get tired of smelling your own farts?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 07:24 PM

They are not in fact called doctors in daily life. You wouldn’t go up to someone and introduce yourself as a doctor unless you’re a medical doctor.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 07:20 PM

I love how social leftists treat shame as this crazy alien concept that would never ever work when dealing with individual duties and responsibilities because it’s “icky”. Even though it’s been the main enforcement mechanism to keep orderly and civilized behavior throughout history.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/26 07:02 AM

Completely retarded.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/26 06:57 AM

How about “grow the fuck up, that “shitty” quality of life would be the envy of 99.9% of humans to ever live”.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/26 06:55 AM

Finding a scholarship or two isn't an "outcry" of support. You're being completely disingenuous.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 01:05 AM

It takes effort to be this disingenuous. At a select few colleges and this is a very recent practice because the gender numbers have gotten so heavily skewed at some institutions and the "white" factor will still be held against those men. Not a serious good faith argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 11:11 PM

I can find a few organizations supporting pedos, does that mean there's large scale support for pedos?

Yes, the social lefties who dominate Redddit gave us Trump 2.0. It's forcing the democrats to be more sensible on social issues. Nature is healing.

"Medical trials were only run with men in minds" This is a perfect example why feminism is completely insufferable, if there's a way to twist something into female oppression they will do it. The reason medical tries were only run on men is because women were PROTECTED, men were the disposable test dummies, new medicine is risky and can come with all sorts of side effects such as you know things like DEATH. The complicated differences between men and women's bodies are still being figured out. T…

I'm not on board because militant egalitarianism is fundamentally at odds with nature and therefore a misguided policy that limits flourishing. Militant gender roles is also a bad policy but we've gone off the deep end in the other direction. A proper culture would recognize the average differences between the sexes, account for it and utilize it to societies advantage while still allowing freedom of choice for those on the edges of variability. Instead, feminism has taken a darker more power se…

Like I said she was a flashpoint in the culture/ gender wars. Basically the equivalent of "incel" for a woman which gets thrown around constantly with little blowback.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 07:26 PM

Two sides of that coin. The guy would get nearly zero support to be called a doctor. While the women will get "yes queen, you're a boss, make people call you a doctor!", a lot of the vitriol she got was over zealous reply guys responding to this general sentiment.

Lol that you put any serious weight into a mob of extreme reply guys. There is a larger separate point, healthy gender dynamics should be concerned with what the opposite sex is attracted to and a large part of current dysfunction can be attributed to not taking that seriously in modern times, especially women. It shouldn't be a flex to behave in the opposite way on purpose, not that I think that's the women was doing here, she was just posting a picture celebrating her PHD albeit to strangers w…

To a certain extent. She is a just a flashpoint in the culture wars/gender dynamics. It's definitely bigger than her. However, alot of people making that statement would be called a douche, it just wouldn't have nearly the likelyhood of going viral like this did if it was a guy.

Explaining something doesn't make something "warranted" for the 10,000 time. Do you understand how the internet works? If you make a statement that an average person would find obnoxious, then certainly the 5% of terminally online hyper responders are going to find it extremely obnoxious and mass downvote/leave comments. That's how you get the dogpiles.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 06:44 PM

There definitely is a minority that will get weird with it. However, men instinctively know that women are instinctively looking for bread winners and the more a women makes the more likely she will be unhappy with what he makes, even if it's a great salary and therefore you being chill with it is against the odds and a risk.

“Waa, everything I don’t like is social conditioning, waa”
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/25 02:10 PM

You didn’t make it up. That comeback slaps at the r/twoxchromosomes meetup. However, repeating a nonsense analogy does nothing to disprove a valid one. And yes…once again… you’re right, humans aren’t pencils…but that’s the whole point of an analogy.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/25 05:08 AM

This isn’t your gender studies 101 class bud, you need to do better than performative outrage and ideological signaling declarative statements with zero backing.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/25 02:21 AM

Being hungry isn’t biological. It’s cultural. Being thirsty isn’t biological. It’s cultural.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/25 01:13 AM

I mean… that’s a huge part of the reason. A woman constantly gets suitors and choices, a man has to actively put himself out there or he’s a ghost. It’s another reason why a selective less promiscuous woman is more attractive, if she is able to stay choosy and not give in to boundless attention when single, she’s much more likely to stay that way in a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 10:18 PM
2

Never even came close to implying that. I am certainly completely skeptical of your explanation though as social constructionists almost exclusively label behaviors the don’t like as “social conditioning”.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 10:14 PM

Yes… that’s the point of analogy…using a simpler subject to help understanding of a more complicated subject (humans and their behavior), you getting performatively offended over it being used says nothing about it’s validity.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 10:13 PM

I mean yeah, that’s what an instinct is, it’s not something you logically consciously process through.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 10:10 PM

My hypothesis is that giving sex is such a powerful tool for women that if they know he can go get sex extremely easy, being a gay guy is just like being a woman in access to sex, then they instinctively avoid them as a partner as it tilts the power imbalance away from them with zero benefit to themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 09:31 PM

Almost like it's analogy and that's the whole purpose of an analogy!
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 09:27 PM

For something to be hypocritical, the two things you're treating differently have to be relatively the same. Men and women are not the same. That's where the social constructionism push for "egalitarianisim" gets so wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 09:26 PM

“Cheaters have always cheated and always found ways to lie by omission to partners.” “When you date an individual you are dating that individual, in the specific context or social circle that you met them.” These statements are once again completely void of the necessary context and nuance. Lefties always make it completely black and white, to further the agenda that we must be loose on any and all social norms. There is no perfect distinction between cheater vs non-cheater, it’s a whole mix of …

/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 12:43 AM

I wouldn’t say it’s not worth it, just that we’ve degenerated into a much more primitive social state leading to the risk of being hurt by your partner/potential partner drastically higher. Every couple will have their differences, but in the past with stronger social norms, you were negotiating at the boundaries with ~80% of relationship norms set in place. Now, you have to negotiate the bare minimum respect otherwise sociopaths and anti-social types have a cultural pass to take advantage of yo…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/25 10:37 PM

…you know you can have a shared culture with exponentially less conflict points making it much easier to find someone compatible, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/25 10:31 PM

Yes, that’s why relationships are thriving in modern day. Definitely not at their lowest point and health ever statistic wise.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/25 10:30 PM

You lefties are always so snarky about glossing over important context and nuance. There’s communication and then then there’s insane amount of communication needed to smooth over the thousand extra potential conflict points when you live in a culture that no longer has strong social norms. Now, repeat this ad nauseam with every potential romantic interest while bad actors have a field day because there’s no longer any social repercussions for fucking around. Such progress.

Yes, women are more socially aggressive on average. That means statistically, you will have more women being verbally combative against standards placed on them and that’s what we exactly see play out.

No, you're not getting the economics of this. You've appealed to the extreme each comment instead of actually dealing with the argument. Yes, there will be a handful of guys that still bounce and fake commitment for 3-6 months, however, the vast majority of guys will not go through all that work just for a single hookup and bounce, the sunk cost fallacy is real and it keeps so many couples together. For the vast majority of men, investing that much time and energy means they will want to protect…

I will repeat. A strategy doesn't have to be 100% perfect for it to be viable. You're acting like you have zero agency over the situation. You still have to show interest and buildup to keep the actual good guy around, but making men wait for sex eliminates 80-90% of the chance a women will be used for her body. You're also trying to apply the poly marriages, which only affected a very small percentage of men who were able to have multiple wives to all men.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/25 08:33 AM

Men and women have different strength of impulses for different actions and their self-control is judged in different areas for that reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/25 08:18 AM

Why can't I? What gives you the moral high ground to tell me I can't? See how two can play this silly game?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/25 11:28 PM

Yes, we all know men will take a ride on the town bicycle and then you hear later the town bicycle is sad about being stuck in a situationship. Not really curious at all.

We'd hope divorce is lower as only the best relationships are making it to marriage. Going up from a massively lower rate than the 70s as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/25 09:42 PM

C'mon, you're acting like the strategy has to be 100% perfect for it to be viable. No strategy with humans is in the realm of being perfect, we only have risk reducers.

“Not surprisingly, there was a huge gender difference, with men reporting nearly twice as many hook-ups on average (28) as women (15)” These numbers show that study should not be taken seriously at all. The average estimated partners someone has had is between 4-7.

What in the white knight is this? A vanishingly small group of terminally online guys that fit this description doesn’t compare to this notion being much more pervasive with your average woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/25 09:56 AM

Nah, shaming is often good actually.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/25 09:55 AM

That doesn’t work with a hyper social species that set dating norms, shaming is perfectly acceptable to an extent and should be encouraged. Shaming help produce better mates on both sides.

Yes, of course, women definitely hold men to all the same standards they themselves hold, right? Right? Only tall girls require tall guys? Only rich girls require a rich guy? Only muscular girls require a muscular guy? Oh wait they don’t? They only screech “hypocrite” when it serves them? Equality for me but not for thee. We call that manipulation.

This is the nonsense feminist take to take shots at a guys “manhood”, don’t fall for it. It changes the framing from the women being inadequate to the man being inadequate.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/25 08:13 AM

lol the most milquetoast “everybody do want they want to do” take, surface level reasonable but that’s about it.

Yes! Couldn't think of anything more attractive as a guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 09:19 PM

Clearly you didn’t read the article because women’s breasts have been found to be linked to the same sexual processing center as genitalia. At least be educated before you reply, that’s clearly distinct from all other non-genital erogenous zones. Yes, covering them is partly a social construction, but the underpinnings on why a culture finds it beneficial to do so has its underpinnings completely in biology.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/25 05:09 AM

I mean when I see the italics come out, I know I’m about to get a “Reddit coded” decree. So I respond in kind. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/the-human-beast/201305/sexual-wiring-of-womens-breasts?utm_source=perplexity They are sexually wired, they are not just a secondary sex characteristic.

How is it automatically “I think you did this”? An accusation is not merely believing it’s a possibility. You can be 99% something didn’t happen and still verify. An accusation is stating explicitly, “you did this and I’m quite sure of it”.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/25 06:52 PM
1

Words have meaning. An accusation is explicitly saying “I think you did this”, verifying doesn’t automatically come with an accusation.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/25 06:31 PM
1

That’s not how that works. Checking your bank account to see if your direct deposit is there doesn’t mean you’re accusing your employer of not paying you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/25 06:25 PM

So you’re really bad at foreplay got it. Feet don’t have sexual wiring like breasts.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/25 05:29 PM

Verifying ≠ accusation.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/25 05:23 PM
1

Not having blind trust doesn’t mean an accusation. An accusation is stating “I think you did this”, verifying that my direct deposit hit my account doesn’t mean I’m accusing my employer of not paying me. It solely means that the trust isn’t 100% blind.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/25 09:59 AM

They have sexual pleasure wiring. The debate is rather silly. To me this is manipulative framing to “win” the debate created by social activists to put detractors immediately on the back foot. I think the amount of women who claim they aren’t inherently sexual and the fraction of those women who truly believe that is vanishingly small. I’m not saying you’re trying to manipulate, just that the framing is.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/25 09:54 AM

Sorry, I thought we were stating things that if said would let others know that we’re deeply unserious people.

Verifying ≠ accusation.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/25 09:41 AM

Only a virgin male could earnestly argue that. If you’re not a virgin male, your foreplay must suck and I feel bad for your partners.

You haven't even done the most basic research on this and it shows.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 09:38 AM

Neither of those are facts actually. Ones completely subjective and the other depends state by state.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 08:48 AM

Okay, I'll correct you. "Health rights", abortion being decided at the state level isn't "health rights" and isn't "women's rights" in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 08:09 AM

Saying crazy things like "women losing rights in America" is the exact screeching we're talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 07:27 AM

No, the original feminist goals have been reached. Now it's turned more into a self-serving movement for continual power taking under the moral high ground guise of "equality". Militant egalitarianism is a disaster anyways as is all of the social constructionist derived theories.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 06:25 AM
1

No, most people see feminists still screeching about oppression and the threat of oppression and they look around and don't see the oppression so the term has dirtied itself.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/25 06:22 AM
1

Almost anyone that disagrees is an obnoxious self-worshiping type. We use to have non socially retarded culture that understood certain behaviors were expected to change once in a relationship. Now it’s “cOnTrOlLiNg” to expect the basics. It’s normal to be more risqué and loose when single. It’s normal to tighten up and be expected to tighten up. Healthy functioning cultures have this distinction.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/25 12:58 AM
1

No. We just now live in a culture that’s socially stunted and has no guidelines for single vs. relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/25 12:47 AM

Abdicating responsibility for your society is actually fucking embarrassing and societies structure is a large part about how sexual dynamics and relationships function in said society.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/25 01:41 AM

Women claim that men care about body count because they're jealous as a machiavellian shaming technique, almost all intuitively understand why men do in reality.

The safety orientation has never made any sense. As if a guy that can’t handle rejection is going to suddenly enjoy being ghosted.

“They’ve all taken it so poorly”, I highly doubt that. You can tell someone who justifies bad behavior by how much they exaggerate.

That tag and that mindset, what a catch you are.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 08:47 AM

I wouldn’t classify this as ghosting, telling him you weren’t comfortable with his actions was the closure. Ghosting is when it’s out of the blue with no explanation.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 08:43 AM
0

It’s crazy to me how so many women find it so hard to understand generalizations. Obviously, dangerous vibes are a completely different situation and discussion. I don’t really understand how ghosting is a solution though, I can assure you with 100% certainty that if he was going to react negatively to a courteous rejection message, he’s going to react with even more intensity to being rejected by being ignored.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 08:32 AM

Ahh so this is just some weird fantasy of yours, gotcha.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/25 08:24 AM

I don’t think it’s true to that extreme. It is natural for men to take the lead and make most of the initiative, however taking some initiative like 25% to his 75% goes a long way to showing your serious and not just in it because you see him as an option and like the attention. It’s confirmation that I’m not wasting my time and energy. Too much interest goes far beyond that and makes me question why a woman that should have options is being so forward and vulnerable so quickly.

Yeah, this is why you have to take it as a blessing in disguise. It's people like yourself revealing their true nature.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/25 11:47 PM

If you're that paranoid you probably shouldn't date. Dating is inherently about making yourself vulnerable and you're not there.

Yep, Men and Women degrade each other in different ways. Men degrade women by using their bodies for sex without caring about them. Women degrade men by using them for attention and resources without caring for them. The times I’ve felt most degraded by women is when they pretend to be interested to get a free meal/drinks but the second that card swipes, they vanish. The other scenario is when I’ve given them my attention/energy and they are receptive, but take it for granted and I find out they…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/25 03:05 AM

You’re strawmanning the argument hard. Sex with a man giving you commitment is not degrading. Sex with a dude that’s just trying to get a nut off then discard you right after is highly degrading.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/25 03:23 AM
5

Exactly, the reversal is true as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/25 02:58 AM

I actually do think most straight guys consider this. It’s a huge reason why they judge girls who are sexual with reckless abandon.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/25 09:36 AM
1

Duty to eachother. Ever tried not strawmanning so hard? You're making up outlier fantasies in your head about what I'm saying. This is what hedonists like yourself don't get. There's true unfit matches, but in the modern age is more likely the case of unfit priorities Your mindset determines much of your reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/25 12:55 PM
2

What's juvenile is thinking marriage is about "happiness" more than "duty", it shouldn't breed resentment if you both have this mindset. You're just projecting your own situation and pretending it's universal, that's cave woman thinking, many people can be good partners and still end up in dead bedrooms. Always so melodramatic, "mUh bOdIlY aUtOnoMy", holy hell. We're not talking about a court of law here. Certainly not everytime, but if someone has a lower libido, satisfying your partner is a good thing to do even if you don't always "feel it in the exact moment", I've done it plenty of times.

You were so close to getting but had to take a bitter left turn. Here's the thing MOST girls can't handle it emotionally, making it a big red flag for bad decision making and/or emotional baggage. You can make demasculinizing ego plays like "little boy" all you want, but trying to insult men over a logical standard doesn't work on confident men.

As a partner I want equal respect not an equal partner. The “equal partner” is an off-shot of the social constructionist ideology that denies all of the legitimate biological differences between men and women. For a fruitful relationship, it’s about taking advantage of your strength and minimizing your weaknesses, and you need to acknowledge the differences both as a group between men and women and individual differences. This reminds me of a girl I dated shortly, who told me that she wanted a g…

Honestly, making it into a surefire accusation of cheating is manipulative. It certainly exposes the relationship of not having unconditional trust but claiming it’s 100% an accusation of cheating is just plainly untrue. I verify my employer paid me by checking my bank account with a hint of suspicion that they stiffed me before I check.

It is 100% logical. Like I said i follow actions not words. That's not even getting in to the fact that if you are having sex you at the very minimum subconsciously want children.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/24 12:46 AM

Women are much more prone to social pressure and prioritizing motherhood over a career is not in vogue, kids really have become an afterthought nowadays for most young people. However, this is why I watch actions not words. A young women will say this but see a baby/puppy on the street and immediately drop everything and start fawning as the maternal instinct is triggered. I take the words with a huge grain of salt.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 03:19 AM

I'd be interested in hearing a detailed pros and cons. Old social conventions were far too restrictive to blend with the modern world, however we've over corrected drastically and denigrated the sacredness of almost all of our social institutions. Marriage is a mindset and the more serious you (and society) takes it, the more you will get from it.

I've thought about this and have wondered the same thing. Almost no one gets pregnant the first time having unprotected sex. One hypothesis I have is that the orgasm is much more of a powerful bonding mechanism for women, to protect against this and given the fact that almost no one gets pregnant the first time having unprotected sex, it makes sense that she only orgasms when a guy is mindful and has her in mind during sex.

The nature of a highly social species makes it hard to separate yourself from the group. Most guys don't object to western apparel. Stuff like this is what guys object to their partners wearing: Gym clothes are fine, skintight shorts that go up your ass crack aren't. Swimsuits are fine, thong/cheeky bikinis are not. Dresses are fine, ones where your tits are spilling out are not. Don't draw excessive to your tits and your ass and you've satisfied 95% of your average guys worries.

Well, seeing that you are a member of a highly social species. To claim a provactice action is for yourself requires either an insane level of either delusion, narcissism or both. It's just a blatantly absurd thing to try and push as reality. There's no comprehending absurdity.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 11:25 PM
5

It's adknowledging reality, you are a member of a highly social species, almost all your actions in public signal something one way or another. That will never change whether you accept it or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 11:14 PM
3

Damn, you took the thoughts out of my brain. Attracting is more implicit of an action giving women plausible deniability of the action which many nefarious women exploit.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 11:04 PM
-3

It's not that we never "comprehended" it, it's that some of us refuse to go along with nonsense especially conveniently self-serving nonsense for the other person trying to push it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 10:58 PM
2

Even giving the benefit of the doubt here that that's truly how you gauge it. Where do you think those feelings come from? Out of thin air? It's a mix of genes and socialisation telling you that what your wearing is attractive giving you good feelings because attraction gives you benefits socially.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 10:53 PM
-3

The literal concept of being sexy is being attractive to the opposite sex. That's why "I don't think about what men would like" makes no sense. You're just exploiting the plausible deniability around this because women aren't the pusuers.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 10:45 PM

Women signals availability while single. Woman continues to signal availability while in a relationship. Man is understandably upset. The issue isn't the dude. He has reasonable expectations around single vs. relationship behavior. The issue is the increasingly lack of maturity in the culture of the sacrifices required to build a strong healthy relationship. If I meet a women by asking her to dance, my interests didn't change because I stoped asking other women to dance once I'm in a relationshi…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 10:34 PM

Dude wasn't insecure. Single vs. relationship behavior is real. No, you're not the perfect person whose "authentic" self should never change, you should consistently be thinking how can I change to further my relationship. People disparaging him aren't mature enough to have that conversation yet. I personally think a lot of red fems purposefully play ignorant to this because shaming checks on their power is a way to maintain power over their partner and men in general.

Red pilled echo chamber meaning the real world outside radfem circles
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 08:13 AM

The teen vouge commandment.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/23 08:58 PM

Lol continuing with this imagined narritave to rail against, try sticking to what actually is being said. You're the one that claimed that NO objectivity exists in maturity, which is blatantly false. Not complicated.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 04:07 PM

I'm definitely talking to someone pretty young here. Lack of maturity is not subjective, we know how men and women behave on average, that's how we build healthy norms. Also, you're not driving away good women by having this as a standard, only the hyper attention seeking ones who don't want to give up crowd sourced male validation. BTW, you built up this whole narritave in your head to get mad at, but you have no idea how my relationships go 🤣
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 05:09 AM
1

You're twisting a lack of maturity on the other partners part. I try and wow other women when I'm single, but I stop when in a relationship. Not that complicated. Wanting respect isn't insecurity, that's actually the biggest sign of security. Manipulating women always use that to try and shame men to bend to their wishes.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 11:13 PM
0

You don't know that until you're in a relationship for a while. I expect my partner to know the difference between single and relationship behavior and that takes time to observe. I know the difference and change my behavior accordingly. I control myself without being asked, control is the biggest part of building a relationship. But trust me, I'm breaking up with any girl that can't agree to limit disrespectful behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 09:03 PM

It's not that deep, it's just semantics games to call asking for respect controlling. Controlling is not letting you see your friends or family. Asking you to no advertise yourself to other men is basic respect.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/23 04:57 AM

I do say something, I don't buy in to this new age nonsense that requesting basic respect related things from you partner is "controlling". It's potrayed as controlling by the women who don't truly want to sacrifice validation and backup options other men give them. They say nonsense like, women get hit on no matter what they wear, that's true, but we're talking about ACTIVELY inviting more male attention something more modest clothes don't do. Like sorry the woman was too naive or dislusioned to understand the basics of a cross gender relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 03:12 AM

Sounds like the woman in this scenario is either extremely naive or dislusioned in the first place in the scenario if she didn't understand this. Most women consciously or subconsciously know that there is almost always some underlying tension. Why is it manipulative or cowardly? The attraction can take awhile to build up.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/23 03:11 AM

No, thank you. I'm not going to be your backup option/orbiter/validation object. I actively avoid girls romantically who say they've made "friends" like this, strong male attention seeking behaviors is my biggest red flag.

A huge reason yes. Dating apps are so distorted towards women that they try and punch way above their weight class on the apps, the problem is, that distortion doesn't carry over to real life. Leaving everyone involved frustrated. This is solved by men having higher standards on the apps and women realizing that they have to give guys more their level a chance on the apps. This will never happen though, collective action problems with no enforcement mechanisms always end badly.

The non-pc real answer but the real one and everyone that has experience with promiscuous girls knows is true.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/23 03:42 AM

1) Sometimes, but often it's just a sign of impulsivity, not that less promiscuous girls don't enjoy sex as much. 2) Promiscuity doesn't affect this unless you're a virgin, a woman who's had a few stable partners can find that out much quicker than someone who has had many short casual flings. 3) Only if you view sleeping with random dudes that don't care about you as "missing out" on an important life adventure. 4) Like before, someone in a long-term stable relationship can be vastly more exper…

The amount of narcissism and lack of maturity needed to believe this is controlling is why everyone is lonelier then ever as less people want to make the sacrifices necessary to create deep relationships. Respect your partner. It also doesn't matter if you wore it when single, you were single, this isn't hard. The impending population crisis shows we can only be so hedonistic and narcissistic centered on relationships for so long before we pay severe prices. I was thinking about this recently. Access to sex is the main bargining tool women have for men to commit. If a guy is bisexual, that devalues that tool a lot as we all know how easy gay guys are, he can go get sex just as easy as your average woman. I think women instinctually understand this and leads them to be weary of bisexual men.

I don't think you can generalize from your personal anecdotes. From my experience, low status men are because they're ignored by so many especially women. My last relationship ended with like this, had been getting to know eachother for about a month at that point. We slept together Sunday and Tuesday of that week, planned to take her on a date that weekend. She had a ONS on Thursday with a random from a bar. Had the audacity to text me Friday morning, wish I could have seen you last night. Didn't find out about it till months later. The contempt I had for her over this eventually killed the relationship. Never again.

Exactly, if you can't sacrifice sleeping with others to feel eachother out, how in the world are you going to make the immense sacrifices it takes to build a long trustful relationship? It shows me your mental framework around relationships isn't mature.

Yes! I love opportunities early on to see how they'll behave. Had this recently happen on a second date. We were getting some drinks, when another guy started flirting and hitting on here. I was off to the side chatting with a friend I saw out. My friend said , "you should probably get back there". I said, " no this is perfect, it's a great time to observe."

After around date 3, instinctually people understand that you're on the border of exclusivity starting to be implied. I find the statement "If you want exclusivity, you need to make it clear" beyond narcissistic. When I'm talking to multiple women, I KNOW that it can cause massive hurt feelings if I don't make it clear. To me, it's a cop out from accepting any responsibility on how your actions affect others and therefore you're not relationship material. The oneous is on the person who can caus…

There's a difference between commitment and basic respect. After around date 3, if you want to see other people you need to make that explicitly clear as it's leading towards a relationship and not making that clear is blatant disrespect.

How far courting has fallen. How could it not be a deal breaker? How could I even make the determination whether I would commit to someone without seeing relationship conducive behavior? Relationships are fluid, they don't have a clean start and end date like the "modern PC" dating bylaws claim. If you want the relationship to be respectful, the foundation needs to be built on respect, not this hedonistic view that we're 100% free until we say the magic words "we're together". I think you've find the dichotomy of male behavior. Aggressive, jealous men controlled harems. Short term, can work, but is fragile and other aggressive men are waiting for their time to takeover. You're missing the forest for the trees. Keeping score meant looking at everything as tit for tat. Transactional doesn't have to be cold and ruthless like a business dealing.

I disagree, I think it's mostly instinctual, men and women have evolved together for tens of thousands of years. There is a large degree of instinct to respect. I agree communication is key, but I think it's actually "childish" that a conversation has to be had, like we're school children that can't follow basic social norms without being explicitly told. I just don't see how someone could determine whether they want a relationship without some trial behavior of a relationship, to me it's basic respect, I stop pursuing others after date 2-3 without being asked. Exclusive sexually, yes,(if sex even happens before the relationship, I'm completely okay if she wants commitment first) but that's far different then an exclusive committed intimate relationship. Exclusivity in a relationship comes with far more demands on both partners.

Few reasons. Men are more interested in systems and women are more interested in people. When men discuss these topics, it's often from a depersonalized view point, discussing it like you'd discuss any other framework. Why? This isn't about morality either, this is about selecting for the optimal partner. Women hold me to a different standard that they don't meet and that's okay. These include: height, income, strength, ambition, willingness to protect, some women even like a man that's already been vetted by other women. The feminine and masculine coming together is beautiful, I'm not going to put an artificial barrier on it by trying to achieve "perfect" equality.

Men get frustrated with the lack of sex. Women have less sexual desire as they feel their partner starts to slack in certain areas. Rinse and repeat. Both get lazy, just in different ways.
