At the end of every transaction it asks if you'd like to make a donation to a charity -- of the dozen or so I've been to in the last 5-7 years, not once has there been Men's Mission or anything. 99% of the time it's for a Women's Shelter. Very poignant explanation of misuse of the system. Not at all. I have had the displeasure of dealing with these idiots before over an unfounded complaint, and even that was intense. If they (CAS) are given a window to screw over a males life, they absolutely will try their best to do so. Canada goes out of its way to ignore the emergency alerts standards, and sends all amber alert messages at the highest level, Presidential. So even IF your phone allows you to disable the lower severity alerts (eg: amber alerts) its irrlievent, as Presidential alerts are still required. There are ways around it, but still.
