It worked in Gattaca.

By 2015 Elon was married twice, with two gorgeous ladies. I imagine it must have taken some dating. What are you on about?

You're right, I definitely should.

Wouldn't it be a "Feldbericht"?

I know an overweight, balding boy with a terrible stutter. He has a gorgeous girlfriend. Sure, it's an anecdote, but the chance is there, pretty clear.

What if your friends are also super confident, at least as much as you?

Body definitely matters. However, the definition of a "great body" changes from man to man. For example, taking only body type into account, I would have preferred your slim friend, while most of my own friends don't like "very slim" girls and would probably have gone with the more curvy girls.

This is how I've been since a few years. The problem is that I feel this state of mind easily leads to apathy, which I'm trying to escape right now.

I appreciate your post, but it would be better if you could please use correct English spelling.

What about "yes."? I used to answer no to such invites, because not going was just easier and more comfortable. Since I've started answering yes, no matter how tired I am, my social life is improving dramatically. Not saying this applies to you, but it could be useful for someone else.

The title made me wonder who are the "sun guys"...

What if I already am the person I want to be? Should I be the person women want me to be?

I'm doing the opposite. After 10 years of not giving a fuck and not trying, without any kind of success, I'm starting to be more proactive. Ler's see how it works out.

Saying you just go and do it, and pretending that it's not a very difficult thing for many, is not a great help.

I'd really want this to be true. A couple driving slips years ago, and I'm still "the guy who can't drive" for everybody. I made an ass of myself for a girl in 2003, and people still tell the story. This is true for my friends too; every embarassing thing goes in your permanent record.

I would immediately think "what if she doesn't have a pen?", and overthink myself into a lonely corner.

This is great. It's one of the best kino devices I've ever read of.

If you are doing something wrong, just tell me and I'll promptly emulate you.

Don't people get annoyed when you stop them for minutes of small talk while they're trying to get something else done? I know I would.

Basically, he didn't need to create attraction, since attraction was there to begin with. With a glaring IOI. When you start from a situation like that, you are 80% done. The real challenge comes when nobody sees you as good looking and you never get IOIs from women.

Her face had that, "Please fucking come and talk to me" look on it I'm a good looking guy. I get told this by everyone Nothing to see here, move on.

Could you please elaborate on the cockblockers' comments? Were they prople you knew?

I see her giving my some major IOIs. (Always positions herself facing me even when I move, and she practically eye-fucks me like she knows what she wants) With such premises, failing is hard; there was no need to build attraction, since there was already a great deal of attraction. He could have done anything and still have success.

5-10 seconds? That sounds a lot to me. Do you really keep your hand on a person's arm, shoulder, back or waist for ten seconds? Anything beyond 3 seconds seems like creep territory to me.

Could you please elaborate on this? Wouldn't "amplify" be counter-productive in this case?

Not everybody lives in Tokyo or in California. In many countries, things go way slower, and girls are a lot more resistant to casual kissing and sex.

It's very common-place in Italy. It's not a problem for the "kino-phobic", because it's normal and expected, like a handshake. There's no fear it can be seen as inappropriate, or fear of awkward rejection. It doesn't show any boldness, it doesn't communicate anything from a body language point of view.

I don't know how it works with American girls, but anytime I come up with something like this I get the "you're fucking weird" look and they start talking with someone else.

I really hope she'll be so positive when she's 15. Very rough times are ahead for her.

I live in a Mediterranean country in Europe, and I completely vouch this. I'd really like to see some useful advice in this thread, as many of the scenarios you see on seddit are hardly applicable here.

Just for the sake of curiosity, are you American?

Would you think that person is awkward? Not only awkward, but also annoying and inopportune. OP's first problem is something I've never got around, bothering strangers feels very weird.

Wow, I've never looked at it this way. I'm going to explore this point of view.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
