You've hit the nail on the head in your post, "Girls want a man with direction." Yes they'll laugh about you being Professor X at first, but if you want to form any lasting and significant relationships, you're going to have to eventually answer that question honestly, and that means doing something with your life. 1	Craig Ferguson shows lots of seduction techniques in an interview with Alice Eve. Video and in-depth analysis in text. Entertainment or not, scripted or not, he still uses techniques advocated in this subreddit. 5	The start of a conversation If I'm going to start a conversation over text instead of setting up a date, I always make it relevant and open ended. Stuff like "Hey what's up" and "How's your week going?" are pretty lame imo. 13	Jaded by Game - Why I Game and Not Date Women, on the other hand, from what I've seen and observed, take a different approach. Instead of seeing problems making them unhappy and as something to be overcome, they see unhappiness as evidence of problems that cannot be overcome. They use their feelings to justify reality. "I have fallen out of love, so therefore it must not have been meant to be" kind of thinking.
