Is this an American thing to do? (assuming you are, most people here are) I'll stand up for pregnant women, the handicapped and the elderly, no problem, but i don't see it as a courtesy to stand up for women just for the heck of it.

I believe it's healthy to have a counter-culture to anything - to have negotiaton and work to compromise, but i think that TRP is generally one big circlejerk. Friend of mine was given MDMA without him knowing it by someone (presumably a friend of ours), wouldn't have been such an awful situation was it not for the fact he has a pacemaker. It turned out fine, he actually quite enjoyed it. No trouble. But i was fearing for his life back there.
