Damn that hit close to home. Thanks OP. Been making excuses for the last few months. My major goals right now are to quit smoking, learn to cook, and start working out. All simple things which the only thing preventing me from accomplishing them is my own laziness. Gonna do all three at once.

Read all of the comments. Didn't realize RP was so hated.

There's a reason why the crazy cat lady is a meme and the crazy cat man isn't. Going by statistics canada suicide data from 2012, the average suicide rate for men in their 20's is 18.1 per 100,000. For women its 5.3. For men in their 40's its 24.85 and for women 8.0. Now yea, men are still killing themselves over three times as often in their 40, but look at % increase over the 20's number. For men thats a 37% increase, for women its a 51% increase. Now there are a lot of factors that go into su…

Great post. Puts into perspective a lot of things that I've been thinking about and struggling with for almost my whole life. I was a really early bloomer. As kid I would notice about myself that I was always initially really good at something but I never seemed to get objectively better. In elementary school I was by far the best at math and reading, by far the best soccer player during recess, by far the best at my chess club, by far the best student my age at karate. Eventually people started…

70% is pretty far off from AWALT. I agree with AWALT as a practical truism, but this notion that men should always strive to be a Spock and that all females are always a Deanna Troi, is an aspect of TRP that I disagree with. Now I get that this concept of a man needing to be a stoic logician is practical and rewarding - motivation vs discipline. You don't go to the gym because you woke up in the morning feeling great and jump into your socks and skip to the gym with an ear to ear smile, you go t…

The coffee stain on my table doesn't bring much to it either, but that doesn't mean I hate it. Facetiousness aside, your fleshlight analogy is spot on, but not for the reason you think. Lets say you have a fleshlight. It has served you well in the past, but all the sudden it just doesn't get the job done anymore. Maybe its all worn out and loose now. Maybe you forgot to clean it once and it got really moldy and disgusting. Maybe there was a manufacturer defect which did not become apparent until…

This attitude is pretty much what led me to discover TRP. I was a 4channer for the last 7 years or so. About a month or two before finding out about TRP I would frequent /soc/ (social, camwhores and rate and meetup threads). If you haven't ever been there, don't bother, its pretty much what you would expect. A bunch of thirsty guys giving attention to the occasional attention whore. The thing that really struck me about /soc/ was the staggering amount of posters claiming to be bi/gay/mtf trans. …

The point he was trying to make was that if women placed more value on their sexuality they would be more cautious about having sex and putting themselves into situations where they could potentially have sex with some beta and then regret it. As it stands now you have dumb sloots getting shitfaced then fucking someone and crying rape a few weeks later after their friends thought he was "creepy" or her gender studies prof talked about How if you are drunk you cannot legally consent. Remember tha…

I get the sense that you are seeking external validation. You don't need to compare your salary or body or intelligence or humor or n count to others. You don't need to qualify yourself to others. People are garbage. The only one who will ever truly give a shit about you is you.

You sure you weren't the one taking it up the ass? Checked your post history. You type like a teenage girl.

Its also great for getting over approach anxiety. When you get rejected over and over again you learn that the worst thing that can happen when you get rejected is ..... just getting rejected. On to the next one.

You are fucked. My coworker and his fiance just had a daughter 2 months ago. She kicked him out of the apt on Christmas eve. You sound a lot like him, and he is a subaverage IQ, even more socially retarded fuckwit. He was telling me how her 'ex-boyfriend' was really nice and helped him move his shit after literally getting kicked to the curb. He then said how when first getting into a relationship with this bitch that same 'ex' tried to warn him saying that this would happen, that he would get d…

So I've been having an argument in my own head about this. I agree with the RP interpretation of this and think him getting suspended is ridiculous, but I can hear it in my head now, getting into an argument with a black chick about this and her shouting "THAS RACIS". I'm torn here, the BP part of me agree's, its judging a person by the color of their skin - Racism. But at the same time I agree with everyone's comments here - its absurd to not factor in race into sexual preference. And is absurd…

Why do you care so much about the surname? This is about your daughter not some petty victory over your daughters mom.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
