I just made it through mine. Due to residency laws I fought and clawed through 6 months of hell. My divorce became final one week ago today via mutual agreement. Hang in there and stay the course. I have lived with my wife through the whole process. Divorce was final just this past Monday. It was not easy and still is not. My situation is she has no one and no job so I felt compassion on a human level. I want her to move out so I can move on with my life. I don’t think it can last forever but can be done. My father passed last July and being the eldest child I just kind of felt it was my duty. I asked my wife for a divorce shortly after moving my mom into our house. I understand, I'm 56 but for me personally I live by one rule. Be happy and content with yourself. If love or just a relationship does come along that is just icing on the cake. Divorcing after 19 years and all our kids are grown of course. I face taking care of my elderly mother and just myself. I'm okay with that though.
