This article reminded me of why I had planned to unsubscribe to the sub once and for all. I originally came here because i thought certain child support rulings were unfair and also saw that boys who were raped by their female teachers weren't being treated the same had they'd been girls. I then saw this sub change to become very Alt-right, White males are only welcomed kind of place. I think this sub has to go back to its roots. Stuff like this is really alienating. You can be for women's right…

My mother owns a house cleaning company. She doesn't hire men because families wouldn't trust a man to go into their house to clean.

I'm interested as to why she says white men are put in a pedestal. I've never heard a woman say something like that.

Open up a history book dude. Really. When has the US had an indigenous president?

I'm Latino who supports equal gender rights. Posts like this just make it seem like this sub is only welcoming to white men.

Mexicans didn't kill out the indigenous people. They are still part of Mexico. This isn't the case in the United States where less than 1% of people are Native American. That's a huge difference.

How wasn't California to Texas not part of Mexico at one point? Also, we are a mix of Native Americans and Europeans. How is it hypocritical in any way? We are both. Our ancestors have been living in the American continent for thousands of years.

When did Men's rights page become about race. I'm genuinely taken a back at this.

I disagree first with the notion that "morality" is universal. Secondly I disagree that if you are immoral (whatever that means) keeps you from understanding moral people. Take gay marriage, just 20 years ago most people would consider gay people immoral, now gay is seen as normal. In the middle east you can be hanged for sorcery, in the west that would be considered a joke to even bring that up. Infidelity is the same way. A lot of people in polyamourous /open relationships realize how many pro…

I don't have very strong uncompromising morals so no that's never happened to me. Maybe if you've killed someone, I guess I wouldn't want to have a relationship with you. The more I've lived, the more I've realized that people aren't 100% bad or 100% good. Everyone is some where in the middle. And things are much more complicated than what they appear.

Have you never heard people say, "I'd rather die before my wife" or "I'd rather die before my husband?" People say that because the thought of them having to go through the experience of losing someone important in your life is very difficult. That's what I think her thought process was. It might not be 100% logical but I can get what she's saying.

It's interesting how we've been conditioned to think this way. I was watching one of those shows "10 Most Shocking whatever." And this woman started slapping her boyfriend because he had cheated on her. Then she took out a bat and started hitting his car breaking mirrors and windows. The show just kept on making jokes. Can you imagine if it was the girl getting beat and the guy slapping her?

You're taking her quote out of context. This is the longer version: Women have always been the primary victims of war. Women lose their husbands, their fathers, their sons in combat. Women often have to flee from the only homes they have ever known. Women are often the refugees from conflict and sometimes, more frequently in today’s warfare, victims. Women are often left with the responsibility, alone, of raising the children.

I can't believe you guys are so glad on this. SPLC has done amazing work regarding minority rights in the racial sense. I don't see how its beneficial for Men's Rights to alienate themselves from this other groups that are fighting towards greater equality.

Its very difficult to get a job as a professor, there's a lot of competition for few jobs. His plan is that he will fix the problem and keep being a professor. If he just quits, he probably won't get his job back.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
