I mean being silent while your partner rails at you is a form of abuse because you are not participating in the advancement of your relationship. I would shut down and say nothing to defend myself or call her out. She was a better fighter than me. Also, i never initiated a serious conversation which is to say i took a submissive role. I'm glad we are done but I wouldn't get married again. Too fucking old...

She left me and it feels so good. She predicted i would fail and struggle...haven't. Thriving actually, she was overheard saying "I must really suck"

Same situation. She banks and will bank more. I am due 50% of her 401k! We have a house that we bought with money from selling my house. She took very little from her first husband and i would feel terrible taking anything from her. I'd rather be a pauper. She wants a legal separation so she can use her money without me. I fucking hate this!! Dont know your sitch but with a clear conscience, do what you will.

I'm with you man. My wife gave me all the clues, warnings and threats. I didn't respond by upping my game, giving more physical care and support emotionally. She is pretty wacky, fun, and beautiful, but I didn't fight for her. I am trying to own some of it.

Man, that feeling is the worst ever. I'm dealing with it at this moment. Talking separation, divorce and she has a lot of male friends...She will never be alone and never has. Dont let your head and your emotions rule you. It's all a construct you are creating. I know you will slip back like i always do, but that is a tenet you must embrace. Think about yourself and your kids. That's it!!

Dang i wish i knew. I am in a similar situation, but she works very hard and is very good. Probably 165k. I make 70k. She holds me to half and pays maybe a little more for me. For instance insurance. We are kind of separating but she is partying like a college kid and blowing me off. I need to pay attention to this post. I say hold your ground and ask for more of the financial split than half. You could probably get alimony.

I wish I had told my wife to do that. I was the other guy. Psyched to be with her and she lambasted him as abusive and terrible. I should have made her be alone for awhile before jumping into bed with me. We are probably getting divorced now and I'll bet she has a plan B!! Cheaters cheat!!

im considering my situation seriously now that you mention this. My wife has a guy like that. total womanizer, been through a couple wives. I saw a text he sent that said "miss hanging with you beautiful" then something like "make a donation to my make a wish foundation" she goes "lets make a raindate pleeease!!" i am scared to confront her...

i think thats my case. she makes a ton more than me, i helped raise her son with time and pickups, drop offs while she worked and provided a home she asked to move into. now he's grown and almost in college. they dont need me anymore. sad really

Sucks man. Thats one of the only thing i think about. Who will she choose next? It will be painful to watch. Hang in there guy and do better than her! you got it!!

i'm in the same boat.Mentally abusive and gets a lot of attention from other guys, which she loves. Claims not to because she is kind of "one of the boys" girl. I'm simpin as the kids love to say and I would die to see her with someone else. I think i want out but so unsure...

totally agree on the aspect of monogamy. i know for a fact my wife likes good looking guys and i like hot gals. i cant believe i cant kiss any one else for the rest of my life. seems weird not too. btw, she dont kiss much or give me any casual affection at all.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
