| 1 | I'm not sure if this belongs here but I believe it's relevant! How is "best performing candidate" determined and how would he find out? Really weird that HR would let any reasoning slip on why he wasn't hired... There is such a thing as culture fit and it's more important than performance. Someone can be amazing but if your team won't work with them as effectively then it's not worth it. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 18/01/21 03:17 AM |
| 3 | Swat team shows up for call from women that her husband is in the house and they are going through a divorce and he is a gun owner. The swat team shows up and shuts down the city and he isn't even there. It is counter intuitive but it's procedure based on what is safest for the officers. Someone wielding a knife against someone with a gun has proven they're willing to die to cause harm. Also a moving target is a lot harder to hit than a stationary one (gaps close fast and shots might not stop momentum) | /r/MensRights | 30/03/14 02:33 AM |

The swat team shows up and shuts down the city and he isn't even there.Actually you're a lot less likely to be shot if you're holding a gun instead of a knife. This confuses a lot of people but people with knives are considered more dangerous / crazy in general. | /r/MensRights | 29/03/14 05:00 PM |

| 6 | Internet users in Britian will now be forced to "opt in" and register with their ISP to view pornography online. Feminist groups "delighted".As fast as I understand tumblr or rather it's parent company Yahoo had some issues earlier this week: Link. Essentially advertisers didn't want their brand appearing beside porn but developing a smart filter was too difficult because porn comes in many shapes and sizes - it's also subjective - what's porn to one person might not be porn to another. User generated content also poses it's own problems since porn can go under any tag and tumblr hardly has any moderation. So what happened is that an… | /r/MensRights | 22/07/13 03:06 PM |

What I was getting at is that the way he was interacting with those people was very abrasive, lacked tact and a sense of the humanity of the people he was dealing with. They have major problems with people not talking about it and other factors (poverty, generations of abuse, addictions, etc...) that make it worse. | 2 | Men's "Y" Chromosome Found To Be Evolving Faster Than The Rest of the Human Genetic CodeAren't there only people with xx and xy chromosomes? If that is the basis for determining sexes then unless there are yy then there are only two genetic sexes. Emotionally, mentally, socially, chemically and otherwise is another story altogether. I'm not assuming all women are feminists. Keep in mind I said "Simply Put" not "Precisely in every detail this is the exactness of reality from which we come". | /r/MensRights | 18/01/10 01:26 PM |
| 2 | Men's "Y" Chromosome Found To Be Evolving Faster Than The Rest of the Human Genetic CodeI don't know ask her... If I'd have to guess I'd say someone with a high IQ. The assumption would then be that there are more men with high IQs than women but also that there are more men with lower IQs than women. | /r/MensRights | 17/01/10 01:06 AM |
| 2 | Men's "Y" Chromosome Found To Be Evolving Faster Than The Rest of the Human Genetic CodeCheck out this ted talk by Helen Fisher here. That page has a transcript, if you search for genius you'll see the part where she talks about there being more male geniuses than female geniuses but that there are also more male idiots than female idiots. Now with this is mind it may be an interesting theory to consider that the Y chromosome may be responsible for more than is typically considered. This could explain why males vary in intelligence more than women. | /r/MensRights | 15/01/10 09:25 PM |
| 2 | Men's "Y" Chromosome Found To Be Evolving Faster Than The Rest of the Human Genetic CodeI don't think its limited to that. There is a lot of discussion around the differences between male and female minds. The typical stereotype is that women are better than men at multi-tasking. It is proven statistically that there are many more male geniuses than female but at the same time there are more males on the base end of the scale as well. Anyways, this type of discovery fits in perfectly so don't go off immediately thinking that all men can do is provide variation on sperm agility, dex… | /r/MensRights | 15/01/10 01:50 PM |
| -2 | Men's "Y" Chromosome Found To Be Evolving Faster Than The Rest of the Human Genetic CodeThe Y chromosome’s rapid rate of evolutionary change does not mean that men are evolving faster than women. -- New York Times. Simply put, there is more variation in males than females. The best to expect is more carbon copy feminists and innovative genius, idiot, lethargic, hard-working, ground-breaking, space-faring males. | /r/MensRights | 14/01/10 01:44 PM |
