I just watched Kumail Nanjiani's new comedy special, and in the face of a lot of what standup has become (punching down, etc), I found it incredibly refreshing. He doesn't shame men or tell them they have to change, he's just being a buff, famous, successful guy talking about how he's had mental health struggles and normalizing it all. Has anybody else seen this special yet? I saw it live and have been waiting to talk to guys about it to see if it resonated the same way. (Especially knowing Kuma…

My advice is - if you make any uncomfortable thing at least kind of funny, it takes the edge off of how "serious" you could seem. Instead of checking in, you could send her a specific GIF relating to your conversations the night prior. Then say something about if she doesn't like this GIF, you know that she either crashed her car or is dead inside. To me, it's slightly edgy, playful, and then whether she responds or not, you can just chill on texting for a while until you're supposed to hang out…

Manipulation is promoted because it *seems* easier than inner work and letting your uniqueness attract someone naturally. Working on and valuing yourself is definitely the one thing I also agree with for RP guys (especially YouTube "dating coac…

Half-Ice got it right. It's called "Real Feels" and I've done essays on Pickup Artists, Dating Coaches, Joe Rogan, Tiger King, and Mister Rogers so far. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAgXmmMVVszIkKl4ViomvKg

Great analogy and I totally agree. EMPATHY is the key here. It's not as much about men "showing" emotions. It's about men being "in touch" with those emotions and not stuffing them down. Looking at them as an observer and getting to know how to deal with them in a healthy way.
