| 8 | How to live happily after divorce?I can relate. Was living in a 5 bed house, now in a 2 bedroom old condo, accounts depleted as well. Just can’t relate to the happiness part, as still can’t get over the sadness. She still isn’t working so whatever I earn gets split, so not being able to replenish my accounts either. Can’t tell if I regret the divorce or getting married at all, but do love my kids a LOT so can’t imagine life without them | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/12/22 01:46 AM |
| 1 | Will I get estranged from my children if not 50/50?I started out hoping for 50/50, she wanted 100% to start and then negotiated at 80. I was still looking out for my family in calculating support payments etc, she just looked out for herself, and was successful | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/11/22 02:38 PM |
| 2 | Feeling guilty: my depression + ADHD destroyed my marriage🙋♂️ Had been mentioning for years that I likely am depressed but high functioning, but she thought it’s all attention seeking behavior. Last year started to realize I likely have Aspergers, she dismissed that again. Now separated, I’m figuring out I have pretty bad ADHD which is why I couldn’t finish anything I started, or kept on changing jobs every couple years. She still feels I’m trying to make excuses, and I just need to try harder. I do wish I would’ve sought professional evaluation earli… | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/11/22 11:55 PM |
| 6 | Not Divorced. Should I check out of marriageBetter to decide this now then get divorced 15 years later (fellow Pakistani American)....no one will bat an eye if you don't marry; but people including some of your own friends might cut you out if you get divorced (going through one right now) | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/10/22 10:27 PM |
