2	Women in Education: A Reflection from my Career as a Teacher Don't forget the "empowerment" that the female teacher gives to her female students. I knew a girl who was getting around a 70% for english. She spent the whole lunch period with the teacher talking about bumping her mark up so she could get into university. By the end of it, she had an 80% on her midterms. This is just one example of many.
