It’s annoying if they are going to demand exclusive spaces yeah. Personally, I don’t think anything should be exclusive though, but I can understand why others would feel differently.

Nah. Mindy Kaling (Velma creator) admitted to sexually assaulting a gay man on Conan and nothing happened to her.

Rapes. The word you’re looking for is rape.

I don’t endorse sexism.

They’re trying to deflect from the problem/not accounting for the fact BPD/HPD “attempts” are often faked for attention, as it is par for the course for both those PDs. (Both are more likely to be exhibited in women than men.)

Same. I have an ‘emergency countermeasure’ that is actually well-engineered this time, though it is to be used as a last resort only, when all other methods to be at peace with life have been earnestly attempted and failed. I am not quite there yet. I am in pain daily, physically and emotionally, but I cannot claim I have exhausted every avenue or recourse to pacify this condition of existence, and although the thought is always there, I do feel like the ‘emergency countermeasure’ helps me feel …

The what. Around 20 years old or 20 attempts?

Or when the method takes time. Personally, I was “all in” and even lied to them about how much Benadryl I took in hopes it would confound them (in my defence, I was obviously cognitively impaired and did not account for the fact they would easily find this information/my lie through testing.) Still, I was able to successfully convince them it was an accident so they wouldn’t add insult to injury and put me away (a relative of mine was in and out of mental facilities his whole teenage years so I …

Yeah nowadays there are easier methods, although still, how many people know where to get fentanyl? Not me, that’s for sure. But successful suicide historically has been pretty hard. These days, not so much, but back in my day unfortunately we did not have these means.

Sad, but true. Men are more likely to use lethal means due to being more competent (just kidding, due to being less squeamish about blood/more likely to own and know how to use a gun, whereas women will use things like poison/pill overdoses because it isn’t as visually extreme.) When I attempted it in 2012, this was indeed my preferred method. I had every intention to die and did not tell anybody, unfortunately however, my considerate nature was my un-undoing and I thought I should at least have…

It also counts purposely non-lethal/attention-seeking “attempts” such as those likely to be committed by persons with HPD/BPD (which overwhelmingly are women, because women are simply more likely to have those personality disorders than men, who are more likely to have other conditions, like ASD.) Those should not be counted as legitimate attempts/legitimate suicidality because the intent clearly was not to terminate one’s life, but to garner sympathy/attention (particularly so for HPD, with BPD…

It truly is. And the prevalence of violence committed BY women and girls is sadly understated/many legal systems do not even recognise this can happen.

She also abused her ex-wife. It’s weird how society claims to be “for women,” yet has not only failed Johnny, but the ex-wife Heard abused as well.

Absolutely disgusting. She is on tape admitting she was the abuser....

The putting kids on dating apps thing is true. It gives me the skeeves that people are really that trusting (that goes for dads too.)

She didn’t refer to her kid as baggage. Other people did.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
