Hold on, if you say he never made sexual advances at you, doesn't that mean you were not sexually abused (actually wondering, not trying to start a petty argument).

Eh, people always say that. But give the cast time to grow. If you watch Jimmy Fallon on SNL, you'd never guess he'd have a hit talk show.

Gawd. All I know is that if/when I have a kid, no matter how much prep and advice and "lessons" I go to, I will have no idea what to do once the kid is born.

I have never understood why men don't get some paternity leave. With a new baby, especially if it is the couple's first, isn't it better two have two adults there to support and take care of the kid rather than one who doesn't know what they're doing?

Yes, that is true. I understand what you're saying! There is no perfect situation for everyone, but for both sides I think there needs to be a bit more of a morality check. Is it right to force a guy to serve basically an 18-year financial sentence because of one mistake? Is it right to force a girl who cannot raise a child on her own to abort/adopt out her kid?

He does not have the final say, no. I dont know how it would be carried out, but I've always believed a guy should have a say. (I dont know how this would be carried out legally though...would be a shit storm to force someone to or not to abort). When I had my abortion I took the guy's wants into account, he wanted to terminate as well.

You're making this a black and white issue. It is not that simple. I think if one party wants to keep the kid, the other should then help out whether it be the guy who wants it or the girl.

I dont think you understand how hard giving up your kid can be for the mother. its not black and white. Yawn. again. When you have sex, you accept the possibility that there might be a pregnancy, and both parties need to be able to accept responsibility.

Just became a mother has the kid, doesn't mean she wants it, either! Abortion is tricky because of the morality factor with some people, as some do believe it is murder. If they do, that has to be respected. Likewise, if the guy thinks abortion is murder and the girl doesn't think so, she should still have the kid to respect him.

I am not quite sure about this. When you agree to have sex, you are agreeing to a chance that she may get pregnant. All forms of birth control can fail. If say the condom breaks, she gets pregnant and she doesnt want an abortion because of moral reasons, I feel the guy should help out with it. Even if the kid is not wanted, or planned, it is both of their responsibilities. Adoption is also a very hard thing to do, and a woman may not be able to handle giving up her kid like that. Child support i…

I believe what feminists take issue with is the idea of victim blaming rather than the "epidemic".

Question: If you had another kid with someone else would you pay less for her kid, then?
/r/MensRights15/10/13 04:36 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
