Seduction is about more than sex. This is not a healthy attitude towards relationships we should be cultivating. Sure, if the quick win is all you're out for and both of you are consenting then fine. This person is legitimately grieving and that's okay. Maybe be more upfront about what you are looking for, OP. It's okay to want a relationship and seduction is how you get it. Take some time to yourself and reevaluate how you communicate with potential partners.

I understand based on what is posted here that folks would be hesitant to label themselves as feminists. The majority of average folks still believe it just means equality. There's nothing that's says you cannot be self labeled as both feminist and in favor of men's rights when discussing things with folks who haven't gone overboard.

That's not how the charter works. Honestly, you guys are speaking about things that you have about no idea how they function or work. You can criticize the organization all you want but we will do what we think is best for it and for our youth. I'm off the opinion that the more young people we put through this program the better.

My organization is the World Scouting Movement. The Girl Scouts of America are not a chartered member and don't share the same values. Having separate troops will maintain a male safe space. It sounds like you just don't want women and men to be equal. What other reason could you have for opposing this? They addressed your concerns.

They aren't destroying anything. We are welcoming them in to gain the same benefits we've gained. They are separate organizations with very different philosophies and approaches. I believe we need more women with what I would consider to be a good scouting experience. We need tougher women, exposed to the real real world, and willing to get dirty. Everyone loves to complain about a lack of women in dirty jobs in this sub. This is how you change the world.

I'll back you up on this. I was one of the biggest voices in allowing women troops. Girl Scouts is shamefully bad in comparison to the World Scouting Movement and they haven't required integration at a troop level but left it up to the troops to decide.

From a strategic perspective, Title 9 has given the US a massive advantage when it comes to women's sports advantage on the international stage. It may not be "right" when it comes to gender equality in our own country but it has brought the medals home because other countries have lagged. Money isn't everything when it comes to sports.

Believe it or not, that is why we are in the situation we are in even currently. The current government shutdown is a result of a small group of politicians that campaigned and were elected to "do everything in their power to repeal Obamacare" That is just a current example. It really saddens me as someone who put over half his life into the organization that the Boy Scouts of America hasn't come up yet. It is great for both youth and adults in my experience. Yes, they have a bit of an issue with Atheists and gays at the national level because of the LDS Church but relatively none of that comes down to the troop level.

I know a lot of women who have gotten shot at by insurgents. There aren't any front lines anymore regardless of if they are allowed in the combat branches. All the others fit but that one far from fits. Downvote me all you want but they go in taking the same risks as I and accepting the same outcome should it occur. I stand by my statement.

Venture Scouts is co-ed. The regular Boy Scouts is still just for boys to allow them to develop without distractions. At the age of 14 it is thought that they need to start learning to interact with other genders and learn to overcome the distraction. I'm not sure where this person is coming from with the rest of it. It simply wasn't true anywhere I went in the scouts and I saw scouting in quite a few regions of the United States and world. I would be more than happy to answer any other question…

The US is no longer directly involved in Iraq or any of the minor conflicts except Afghanistan so we are not currently fighting wars but one war. I suppose an argument could be made for the overall war on terror but that has not involved traditional warfare for quite some time and still would encompass Afghanistan making it one war.
