New York City Tax dollars at work: Study Shows Women’s Products Cost More Than Men'sI got a Gillette safety razor made in the 1960s. Got it on eBay for about $25. It costs me under $20 a year to shave (blades + cream). | /r/TheRedPill | 26/12/15 01:59 PM
Finally have proof of the truth.Definitely go see a lawyer. I was married for a very short time when my wife and I decided to split up - it was going to be "amicable". Ok, fine. Amicable UNTIL she went to see an attorney. Next thing I know, her dragon-lady lawyer starts going after all my stuff, retirement account, etc. I'll spare you details, but what I want you to know is that one moment everything seems fine and "amicable", next thing you know the lawyer is feeding her propaganda about what she "deserves". Get yourself an a… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 15/06/15 10:50 PM
My take on "looks don't matter" statementsThis. I interpret fashionable the same way I interpret a lot of content in this sub: to be the best I can be. Fashion wise, for me this means to look the best I can look - and at my age the stuff that younger guys are into would look preposterous on me. Might as well by a red convertible... Instead, my "look" is classic - quality clothes that fit well, and show that I care about my appearance. | /r/TheRedPill | 12/04/15 06:37 PM

They Won… So let them have it.Westerners don't realize that survival, triumph over adversity and hardship, are built-in to the human condition. They're psychological requirements. Remove those, and people lose their purpose - and without purpose, they flounder. THIS. I remember making a link to our post-WW2 world from something in one of Dan Carlin's history podcasts on the Roman Empire. There was a group of barbarians the Romans fought, I believe the Cimbri. Extremely fierce warriors. Once the Romans finally defeated them, … | /r/TheRedPill | 11/04/15 09:26 PM
Fat fashion week in ParisYou can't blame the designers and clothes makers - they are adapting to market conditions. If women spend more on fashion, and if there is a new segment of customers for whom there are no nice clothes (the obese), well by all means let's figure out a way to get their money - let's create "fashion" for the obese. Brilliant. No different than purveyors of cigarettes glamorizing smoking or beer commercials targeting men with scantily clad models. What they purposely ignore is the fact that men don'… | /r/TheRedPill | 10/04/15 11:29 PM
Approaching in slavic based language countriesI am curious to know if you have spent any time in eastern Europe. In countries that utilize formal and familiar forms of address, as these do, one does NOT initiate conversation using the familiar form. It is quite common for a person to ask if it's okay to move from formal to informal at some point. It's just culturally the norm. Like in western countries, when we say to a new acquaintance, "May I call you John". If you were to address a stranger in the familiar form, you would be looked at fu… | /r/GEOTRP | 30/03/15 02:38 AM
Target rich areas in the USA, add to this list.I lived in Dallas for a while, and confirm the "thirty thousand millionaire". My understanding is that the term refers to guys making low salary putting on appearances, i.e., renting an apartment in a trendy part of town, leasing a car he cannot afford, dressing like a PUA, etc. In other words, living beyond his means in order to appear like he has more than he has, to attract women. The other thing I remember is just how many "gold digging whores" (thank you, Bill Burr) there are there. I was i… | /r/TheRedPill | 20/03/15 04:26 PM
Approaching in slavic based language countriesPerhaps I was not clear. I am not suggesting faking in your own country. I was suggesting you throw out an observation about ANOTHER country. | /r/GEOTRP | 17/03/15 08:47 PM
Approaching in slavic based language countriesThen make up some bullshit. For example, let's say I'm in Serbia, I might say something like, "I've noticed when I travel in Croatia and Macedonia - people there are a little friendlier, and often suggest moving from formal to familiar - much more so than here. What do you think?" etc. If she's digging you at all, she will likely suggest moving to familiar, as she won't want to be seen as unfriendly relative to the other countries you mention, etc. | /r/GEOTRP | 17/03/15 02:21 PM
Approaching in slavic based language countriesYour overall strategy is good. What I've found effective is escalation, for lack of a better term, to generate familiarity. Start with the more formal (plural) "You", and as soon as you can, ask if it's okay to use the more familiar "You" (singular). You can say you struggle with the tenses and forms, and it would be a little easier to use the more familiar terms. They eat it up. | /r/GEOTRP | 14/03/15 01:14 PM

[Slight FR] My oh my, women have a skewed perception on "average".This. While men are looking for a few uncorrelated variables to be in the top x percent, women have laundry lists of literally 10+ attributes for potential mates (thank you, Oprah). There is a "best of" on Craigslist where the guy's rant covers this. Here is an excerpt (link below): Let's say you are in the San Jose area, and are looking for a single (31%) white (48%) man, 25-34 (about 18%) who is 6'0 or taller (15%), doesn't smoke cigarettes (82%), and possess a Bachelor's degree or higher (32%… | /r/TheRedPill | 09/03/15 03:41 PM
Advice/appeal to discussing the reality of aging via a Red Pill lens (long, from 40+ yr old guy). Hopefully, young bucks and grizzled vets can both participate49 here, and thank you OP for this - very good reading. Want to chime in on a few points, particularly for the work environment, as I have found over time my work success/confidence and non-work pursuits overlap. Clothes. At work (particularly corporate environment) clothes matter. The number one way to make a good impression is to wear clothes that actually fit. I am fortunate enough to have several good quality handmade suits, but I still have a cheap suit that I bought when job hunting years … | /r/TheRedPill | 21/01/15 01:07 AM
