1	Why are most men never taught how to attract women? A big part of attracting women is social status. A big part of social status is fashion signals which change over time, are contextual, and are deliberately hard to fake. So parents teach their children to do things like "be a nice guy," and "have a stable job." This is actually great advice for already attractive guys dating in a small close-knit social circle like a small town or a church, but it's terrible advice for young, penniless men in large atomized communities like cities or suburbs.	/r/PurplePillDebate	25/02/21 06:56 AM

1	Do men in these modern times want to be breadwinners? In the time before "civilization," disease and death were so rampant that women were pregnant or nursing for their entire fertility window. If we look at the time use of modern bushmen, a lot more than 15 hours per week is spent just finding water. Evolutionary theory can be used to infer that even in the absence of subsistence struggles, available time was probably spent competing for mates, whether that was done by song or by knife. 5	I think the men on this sub over-idealize virgin women Not the person you're responding to, but in those societies women are very careful not to do things that might break the hymen. Medical examinations (hymen + std tests, probably) to confirm the woman's virginity before marriage are common in very traditional Muslim communities in Western countries. A PhD comes with a few implicit signals: "upper class", "not focused on raising a family", "not attracted to uneducated guys".
