YouTuber Lauren Chen explains that column writer isn't as great a catch as she thinks. That's why if I don't watch the video/read the article I don't vote or comment. I have nothing to say on its contents. I did watch this video and she's spot on, if a bit rambling and disorganized at times. I'm 38 and married. If I was looking I wouldn't be looking for the chick in the editorial/column thing. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 04/08/21 11:45 PM
FINESSED.I didn't say misogyny isn't a problem, nor do I say racism isn't a real problem. But both are symptoms of the greater problem: people in power wielding it without consequence, and those people are the ones dumping champagne on Occupy Wall Street pritestors in 2008. That's nowhere near exclusively white people nor men nor any other group but the wealthy and powerful. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/03/21 04:00 PM
FINESSED.You're falling into the same trap, though: "Caucasian men, generally much older,, hold all the levers of power." That would imply that old white men, generally, hold the power. They don't. His point is that these particular old white men, the 1%, hold power and to say this applies to men generally is to ignore the 99% of men who aren't them. This is his point. It's the generalization that ends up hurting everyone who isn't the 1%. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/03/21 03:37 PM
FINESSED.I disagree. Women just tend to choose less violent, and this less effective, means. Men are more callous towards violence and so will jump off a cliff, hang, cut, or shoot themselves. It's not seen as "feminine" to shoot yourself in the head. It's messier. It's sudden. It ruins your looks. All things that grate against typical feminine qualities. Obviously this isn't universal. Just trends. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/03/21 03:28 PM
FINESSED.But it is a response to her point. "Men, the Patriarchy, have all the power, the money, and the choice." "Then why are they the most likely to die in war and suicide, be homeless, and get attacked?" Implied point is if "men," generally, are in control why do the vast majority seem to he lacking any control? | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/03/21 03:20 PM
“Help another woman doesn’t agree with me!!”This is the appropriate response. Each issue and discussion needs to be judged independently. "She denies climate change so this quote is bullshit," like many people say in this thread is conflating two relatively unrelated issues other than they both happen to be held by one "side." Maybe she's good on one issue and bad on another. I'm sure I am and so is everyone else in the world. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 26/01/21 12:58 PM

| -24 | Three black girls attack a white man on the bus and later accuse him of assault and racism. Security footage proves otherwiseThat kind of comment is why men's rights get ignored. You used a legitimate hate crime against a white man to use a racist and sexist comment against them the perpetrators. Racism is not okay. Sexism is not okay. The end. Don't make the same mistake these girls did because in the end you may as well go join their "discount Deatiny's Child" as a fucking floormat. YOU'RE THE MAN THEY USE TO ACCUSE THE REST OF US. | /r/MensRights | 04/04/20 01:37 PM |
Father suicides from continual abuse by courts and ex-wifeTax and other legal benefits. Having an informal relationship (i.e. living together permanently w/o marriage) makes a whole lot of things messy. With a formally recognized, legally binding relationship you get a tax benefit and even without a will your spouse gets all of your stuff when you die, not to mention all of the death benefits by default (e.g. life insurance, etc.). Without a legally binding relationship then you/your spouse can be screwed over, no matter how long you lived together, be… | /r/MensRights | 30/12/16 01:25 PM
