isnt this a title 9 thing cause any scholarships given out for football needs to be equally given out to women sports teams?

I think it was in elementary/middle school when I started to ask myself why the girls I liked never ever liked me back. I think ever since then I've been afraid to talk to women because I don't want them to think that I'm being creepy, because just trying to interact with women and being unattractive is grounds for this. I end up fulfilling my own prophecy because my reluctance to interact with them leads them to view me as creepy.

those with a history of making bad decisions are more likely to make more bad decisions

it’s not imperceptible. i can tell when people are wearing makeup. i just can’t tell how much acne they have.

please ground yourself in reality. no guy can wear makeup on a college campus. i’d be a laughingstock .

ur the second person in this sub to tell me to wear makeup. that just isn’t reality as a guy. you can’t wear makeup and not be ostracized

so many women I know (college) have bad/ terrible skin, but are able to hide it through the use of makeup. I am not afforded this oppourtunity, and my acne is probably the thing i am the most ashamed of.

if you don’t like them, then you aren’t friends. therefore not friends with benefits. ur just fucking some guy you don’t like. and you don’t have to do that. it’s that simple. you seem to not understand the “friends” part .

do you know what benefits means? you are friends, and the benefits you both receive is sex

i get what you are saying. but having a child with a heroin addict is leagues above “being young and stupid” i am young and even i could have told you that’s a bad idea even when i was 15

is it also the drug that makes women forget how painful childbirth is so they have more than one kid?

the friends I respect enough to open up to, I don't trust. And the friends I trust to open up too, I respect too much to ever show them anything other than my best.

no one is forcing women to post either, but its easier to get validation on the internet than to seek it in real life Ngl, In their position I would definitely take the easy route as they do. But as I am not granted these opportunities, in either real life or through the internet, I get to take the moral high ground

"incel" isnt considered a slur, why should "pick me" be considered one

I think it is because the people who frequent these subs feel as though they are never given the chance to be loved

I am trying. Both are true, but just stating that is pretty surface level

I am in college and find most (9/10) of the women my age who attend to be unattractive. Maybe bc I go to a lame school, but all the attractive women gather in sororities, and even then they are forced to let the ugly ones in.

I do agree it would be interesting to see that data. what do you mean by fear the worst? Like more women-hating incels than textbook incels?

yes and im saying this is a bad association. associating not having sex with negative character traits or overall bad morality is bad. the point op is trying to make.

IN(voluntary) CEL(ibate). By adding any negative connotation ("spreading hate and misogyny") you are feeding the problem. You are saying, or conveying, that something inherent within being involuntary celibate is wrong. While it has been adopted (by sexists) to mean what you are saying it is, those hateful people are only a small minority of the people who identify as incels. Using your definition harms an awful lot of the people who are just awkward losers, not malicious demons who hate women…

yea thats pretty sexist. If you are a guy who talks about your problems you are a misogynistic piece of shit? Your solution is just "suffer in silence... I don't want or care about your problems" Ok? No one is telling you to care. While a lot of incels do wallow in self pity, it becomes hard to break out of this cycle when the solution to stop being an incel is to have sex, and the only way to have sex is to not be an incel (derogatory use) .

yea they are, incel (involuntary celibate) has been adopted as a derogatory term for a male. If you are involuntary celibate, you are bad. While we probably agree that the term incel has shifted to more-so reflect the views of more misogynistic involuntary celibates who think that women "owe" them something, I think there's something to be said about directly associating a negative implication to something like this, much as the word "whore" should be abandoned.

in what world would a guy wearing makeup not completely ruin his chances with a girl? it’s totally not accepted by straight women
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 12:02 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
