Information that you, I, and the rest of the worlds public did not have definitively at the time and was, again, not seen at all in the video evidence the public did have at the time. I still have yet to see any video evidence of the vehicle travelling the wrong way as was claimed prior to the investigation countless times. Where is it? Every time you predict a coin toss do you think you're omnipotent or do you understand the basis of chance and probability? It's a sad state for society when I'm…

Let's start with the fact that he was going the wrong direction on the freeway. In the video he's seen going the right way for the flow of traffic. If the police said he was going the wrong direction when he hit those people the police are obviously stupifyingly incorrect. Anyone who watches that video, or any other video of the scene or incident can clearly see the vehicle was travelling in the expected direction for the side of the road it was on. I don't understand how you can imply that it d…

Yep, seen that video about 700 times now probably, pointing many details others seems to miss about it all throughout this comment section but you want me to notice the one on ramp we can see being blockaded and you want me to take that as proof that every single access point to the highway up to that point was blockaded as well. Once more, we do not see the car take the off ramp the wrong way. We only see protester vehicles on the highway, not cops blocking the highway or evidence of any other …

Please enlighten me so I may be as wise as you.

So you really do think the cops are perfect now? Guess the protesters can go home eh?

Why do you so desperately want to believe the police are now suddenly infallible despite weeks of protesting to the contrary. Which is it, cops fuck up, or cops are perfect and could never miss barricading an on ramp properly, or missing an access ramp from another highway?

Where's the proof it was closed? Where are the barricades? You realize you're taking the word of police as gospel when you are supporting protesters who want to abolish the police right? Like, which side is it you support? Is it not possible an onramp was missed by the police or are they now perfect in all operation despite the ongoing protests to the contrary? I want to see how this highway was closed, I want to see the barricaded on ramps and exits, I want to see this car allegedly going the w…

https://youtu.be/RxvJEeskOzA?t=30 The protesters knew the car was coming a full ten seconds before impact.

I didn't know brake lights lit up when you're accelerating. Do you even drive a car? They're travelling on the correct side of the road. They approach a line of random vehicles and brake, they go around the line of vehicles likely with their attention on the ass end of the van and give the line of cars room should anyone be behind them. Turns out they're spread all over the approach access where the driver then notices them, hits the brakes again (you can clearly see them light up) and tries to …

You can see in the video the driver was going the right way. The only part of the highway we see "closed" is the line of protesters cars lined up haphazardly across the highway. The line of random vehicles is the reason the driver drove on the median, to get around them and was braking as they approached the line of vehicles.

So it's absolutely impossible there wasn't an on-ramp that was left barricaded by police? I've yet to see any images of these barricades across all highway access leading to this protest. I mean aren't these protests about police accountability or something, isn't it possible the cops fucked up again or is that just out of the realm of possibility here?

Those vehicles blocking the highway aren't police, emergency services or highway maintenance vehicles, having protesters leave their vehicles strewn across a highway is not observably closed. The first video shows the car braking when the line of vehicles is seen, going wide around the vehicles. The brake lights then come on again as their attention is drawn from the line of vehicles to the crowd of people running in all directions and the driver maneuvers away from the majority of the crowd and…

It's easy to justify your own internalized position to yourself, not so easy to justify it to an outside perspective.

I prefer an appropriate tag with fitting "maroon" colour in res so I know their opinion isn't to be taken seriously. Yours is "is quick to label others as the embodiment of douchery over proclamations against gullibility."

You know what, frankly, sign me the fuck up please. I've been begging my employer to cut my hours for months. But oh wait the office ladies need more time off, guess I gotta deal with being scheduled more hours to cover their needs.

I'd wager there's a camera in that elevator. Might be able to request the footage.

As a Canadian male this will be the most troublesome thing I'll read today. I'm not sure how to protest this with my elected officials beyond letter writing, and I feel that would be ineffective anyways.

Did you make it past the first sentence or not? Spend the money instead of letting innocent people go to jail and it's a net savings. Just because you can't be bothered to read more than one line doesn't make it word vomit, do try to keep up now.

Uhh, that's the point. Was that not clear? Damn the expense, test them ALL, save some people from wrongful incarceration. It was right there in the last line, spend the money instead of letting people go to jail, and save in the long term cost of keeping them alive in jail.

Oh please, there's so much waste in government spending that a mere 1000 dollars is nothing. It costs more to wrongfully incarcerate someone for each week they're locked up. Spend the money instead of letting innocent people go to jail and it's a net savings.

With live in Bizarro world man, the Biff timeline if you will. Just like that kid with the clock. Act like a dick, do stupid shit, end up at the Whitehouse and on the cover of newspapers all over the continent, TV throughout the world. Seems I should get around to building the asylum walls sooner than later :(

To be completely clear, you don’t have to be a man to have a prostate, and you don’t have to have a prostate to be a man. Wat. Being a man, according to Movember, implies an archaic view of gender that implies that only a male/female gender binary exists, and that you aren’t really a man if you don’t necessarily identify with that binary. Oh. Ffs..

Yeah, in Canada they won't throw you in prison right away, but they'll garnish your wages until you have few choices left to make ends meet and will likely turn to petty theft just to get by. Continued failures to pay your arrears will land you in prison eventually though.

It's been a circus on both sides for quite a while now, the only option is to back third parties. The only people who do that are weirdos and mutants. It's a shame too, because it shouldn't be an all encompassing label for all the other political parties. I'm sure a lot of other parties would gain ground if the process wasn't rife with corruption and superpacs.
