It's easy to look at people who have done bad things and simply dehumanize them into monsters without empathy acting with purely malicious intentions but that approach then denies that we can do anything about the problem, and denies that the people committing the crimes are indeed human beings with human motivations and human emotions who can be influenced. | /r/MensRights | 04/09/12 05:52 PM |

And the "tell men not to rape" argument is much more valid than "tell murderers not to kill" because while nobody justifies murders, many rapes ARE justified by the perpetrator and others as "she wanted it, she had it coming, I didn't really rape her."
