Dude you make it too complex really. Take it from a high perspective, and put parameters to set individual constants. These constants can be approximated by experience, especially considering this adaptative behavior. Really, putting on weight is a lack of self discipline, that's all. If you eat 500g, you can't put on 1kg of weight, and this is exactly what fat chicks say: "I don't eat anything, look at my salad, and I put on weight".
