Financial Spreadsheet for getting back on track after divorce.Just so everyone knows OP sent me this a little bit ago and it's great. I'm glad to see they're sharing it with everyone. Thanks bro! | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/01/20 03:03 PM
I’ve found the perfect wifeDude, this was me last year almost exactly. The other comment about hysterical bonding is 100% correct. Ours lasted longer than the few weeks most people over in deadbedrooms predicted, but it did eventually taper off. The hysterical bonding lasted about 2 mos. After that she put the responsibility for sex back on me and started complaining that I never initiated anymore. I just can't seem to get back to wanting it again. It's like a monkey paw wish. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/01/20 02:22 PM

Budgeting question for you single dadsNetflix and Xbox are for the kid a I. I figured $35/ mo is decent for entertainment. Yeah, the car could do Uber but I don't live in a densely populated area. I was figuring a part-time job at like Lowe's or something similar. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/01/20 07:36 PM
Budgeting question for you single dadsI thought about that but those guys have different priorities. I can't tell how many times I've seen posts asking for advice when they get a bunch of answers from people living in their cars or in the spare rooms of relatives telling them to put more into their 401k. That's why I came here. There are Dads here who know how to budget for themselves and their kids coming off of a divorce. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/01/20 07:17 PM
Budgeting question for you single dadsI'm assuming your household size is 2 or 3 people post divorce Yeah 2. You should be able to cut your food bill by at least $100 month if you meal prep/cut down eating out. If you don't know already, learn how to cook beyond the basics. That's the first thing on my priority list. I've got to learn to cook! Your loan/truck payment/phone bill are all roughly the same. I'm assuming you owe money on your phone. ... extra $300/month in your pocket Yeah, I'm gonna snowball that shit. Get a library car… | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/01/20 07:15 PM
Budgeting question for you single dadsI am going back and forth as to whether I can afford to buy out my STBXW from her part of the house and not have to work an additional job. I'm actually hoping she can buy me out. Never liked the house anyway. Yeah, the occasional items are what concern me with only $100 left over every month. Especially with a kid, those things have a tendency to spring up. I have a few hobbies but I'm putting those to the side until I can get a better grasp on the money situation. In the interim that's the xbo… | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/01/20 07:09 PM
Budgeting question for you single dadsI've been using worst-case scenarios for the utility forecasts. I'm trying to figure out the food budget, I expect 50/50 with my daughter so that's increased costs. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/01/20 07:06 PM
Budgeting question for you single dadsTake your phone to a Cricket store I'll look into that, thanks. Get an app called credit karma Got it already. That's how I found out about the 15k in credit card debt my wife charged. Whatever loan you have for $150, is that something you can payoff sooner. See above. also just accepted an offer for 3x’s what I was making during my divorce. Year later. Not telling you that to brag, Nah, dude brag. That's fucking awesome. I bartended on my off nights Oh God, I don't want to do that again. I was … | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/01/20 07:04 PM
