"black bloc" tactics as they are reffered to by the people who employ them are huge in anarchist demonstrations. antifa is just one of many anarchist groups that use the tactic and recently they are getting a lot of press for it. its super effective as we saw in this video even though it just happened the guys didn't have a clear idea who actually did the spraying. i remember in the Seattle '99 riots the black blocs shut down huge parts of the city.
