Feel free to keep thinking that you're soooooo special and different from the rest of us.

At the mental level, people are all the same. You aren't unique or special in any way. You're a member of Homo Sapiens, just like the rest of us.

Once again, common sense is important too. I'm sure you've had emotional connections, but they weren't deep. That's the point I'm trying to make. If someone leaves your life or pops up less frequently, and you're not upset about it, your connection to them was never strong to begin. Not sure what's so controversial about that.

As another commenter pointed out, a bond that's easily broken is a weak one. If someone comes in and out of your life, with no bad feelings on your end, your feelings for them aren't strong. Point blank. If you were REALLY head over heels for them, you wouldn't have been happy with just casual fucking, and tried to go for something more serious. That's just how people are.

I actually do know because of my own experiences and a bit of common sense. The bonds people create with casual sex partners are anything but strong. That's the whole point of casual sex: it's just physical fun with little no emotions attached. If you think your dalliances count as "relationships," you don't know what a relationship is.

You don't, you just think you do because the emotional connections you create are shallow, but they're the deepest ones you're capable of creating. In other words, the bonds you create are deep for you.

That's all well and good, but it's mentally impossible to get ran through by dozens and guys while being head over heels for every single one of them. If you were actually in love with them, you wouldn't have jumped to the next guy so quickly. You're just fooling yourself if you think that's possible.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
