I'm from Australia. Women here got the right to vote in 1894. Women were also severely limited with regard to property ownership. Couldn't buy land without your male's signature etc. Marital rape only became legally recognised very recently in western countries, around the 60s I think? Lots of fucked up laws even now regarding abortion rights etc. I'm all for men's rights, but denying that women have ever been oppressed is a bit retarded.
