This👆 One foot in front of the other. Nothing about it will be enjoyable FOR NOW. But, eventually you will have walked far enough from total disaster that you will see changes. Good luck brother.

Same brother. First one, had my kid but she'll be gone tomorrow afternoon. I'm kind of proud for handling my first Christmas as a single parent and you should be too. It's not fucking easy but look at us go.

I probably would've done the same thing if I was on the booze. This sounds like rock bottom dude. Goes up (fucking slowly) from here. Good luck.

I think you'll see a big change when it's your space with your things. I found it quickly got better when we finally sold the house

I think this will be easier when their is a sense of routine for the two of you. Sounds like you guys are in the "figuring out" stage of the next phase of your lives. At some point the "figuring out" will be over and you will have routines that you are comfortable with. Also, she probably feels accomplished when she makes you sweat imo, That's probably the "why"

I've had a few days that I didn't go to work. And that was just a few months ago. Hang on to the things that give power, brother. These are the bad times, but they'll pass.

Get out of the house on bad days. Even if you just get a coffee in a drive through. The more you're out of the house the better, was for me anyway.

I remember the day before hoping no one mentioned it, or that social media didn't remind me or anything. And then it came and went without a whisper.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
