No, but i know women who have. Are you implying those dont count? Do you take the OP's word that their friend was raped? Either way its really insensitive to tell someone who has been raped to "not go out". Youre not actually suggesting the OP's friend becomes social hermit in order to avoid rape, are you?

No, not really. If i was combating stats with stats, science with science, or making a spectacular claim against a long established one, then maybe. But i think its clear we are only discussing personal experiences.

Right. Women get broken up after being raped because theyre "soiled", or because they "actually wanted it" and are "cheating b*tches". So they still get broken up with, just for different, but just as bad reasons.

Because they havent needed it? Everyone i know and their mother think its wrong to shame a male rape victim. I just cant imagine any response to a man that would happen, any kind of stigma with regauds to rape towards men, that isnt already present towards women.

Thats truly terrible, but it wouldnt be a shitstorm if the genders were reversed. Most rapes on women are not reported, and women usually get harassed, blamed, and dumped when they do speak up.

But it sounds like she had to sacrifice morals and join in on a sexist system in order to avoid being frustrated and to be taken seriously. Although i dont think its deplorable when women do questionable things in order to survive -- afterall, its survival -- i dont see how resisting inappropriate behavior and standing up for yourself is the childish option. If anything, id say its the more mature option.

This type of woman will have low worth (and there are many of them) but white knights and beta orbiters will always provide her with validation. Worth is always relative. But even if you were talking worth over a population, if there are enough people who find "this type" worthy, then...

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
