But you guys aren't your average sexists. You say you're for equality, then act super sexist when you think no one is looking. Kinda like....gasp FEMINISTS!

If one wants to input the same morality, then women's choices are made at conception No, because that morality only includes taking care of a child, not a fetus. That morality also considers bodily autonomy as important. This does not translate to anti abortion speak. While also giving men the right to choose their parenthood post pregnancy as women now get to No, what would be easiest is to not allow the mother to give up the baby for adoption without telling the father. That's it. That's all w…

Yes, but being selfish isn't illegal.
/r/MensRights19/10/21 12:01 PM

Yeah, it sucks, the current system is not great, for sure. A better option, would be to pay a percentage of the salary. And not a ridiculous one, to the point where the father cannot function. But, this kid needs financial stability. The mother is paying half, and most likely taking care of the kid full time, so too should the father.

Yes, I believe men whose condoms have been tampered with or have been raped should not be paying child support. But otherwise, they made their choice.
/r/MensRights19/10/21 11:56 AM

So you agree with "Men are violent."?
/r/MensRights19/10/21 11:45 AM

Imo messing with condom and straight up rape are baby trapping. I don't consider saying being on br when you're not is baby trapping, just because what she does with her body isn't anyone's business. Yes, bills can be psychologically damaging, I personally know all about this lol but that doesn't make them illegal. Just because my financial status is the cause of my depression doesn't mean I can just not pay my bills.
/r/MensRights19/10/21 11:44 AM

Then so does the general argument that all men are violent.

babytrapping Can you explain what you consider baby trapping. I have a sneaking suspicion it's not the same as mine. Do you really think having to pay for a child that one doesn’t want for 18 years comparable to bodily autonomy No, I don't think they are comparable. Everyone has to pay bills. What about when the father doesn’t even get to see the child. Is he safe to see the child? If yes, then of course he should be able to. I am well aware of the current sexist against men courts in America. A…

They get to have abortions due to bodily autonomy. Men do too, they just don't get pregnant. Paying bills isn't a violation of ones bodily autonomy. Forcing someone to give birth is.

/r/MensRights27/09/21 03:31 AM

Yes, in current times, the judicial system takes away tons of rights from men. Making them basically less than people. Like making abortion would make women less than people.
/r/MensRights24/09/21 09:59 PM

You give mra a bad name, you and guys like you are the reason no one takes you seriously and people laugh when you say men's rights.

/r/MensRights24/09/21 09:57 PM

Being legally required to continue working and jailed if you stop (even if fired) isn't a violation of bodily autonomy? Right. Yes, right. Glad we agree on the basic definition of bodily autonomy. Equality is equality. Yikes. Willing to make women less than people to help men. Bad mra! Bad! Hahahahahahah
/r/MensRights24/09/21 09:25 PM

I'll give you the draft, but paying child support isn't breaking bodily autonomy. Everyone has bills to pay. And as I said before, taking away women's autonomy won't help men.
/r/MensRights24/09/21 07:01 AM

Oh this is when you choose who the adoptive parents are way before it's born. Many people don't go through this option. If everyone did this why are there 400,000 kids in foster care?

Ahhh yes, well, we aren't talking about bodily autonomy as an infant. We are talking about bodily autonomy as an adult who just got someone pregnant. While I agree with you, and am a total intactivist, we just aren't talking about that rn. Taking away women's autonomy won't help with restoring infant boys autonomy.

/r/MensRights23/09/21 08:25 AM

I don't care because there's no reason to keep something alive that no one wants. It would be better to have never existed that to live a life of suffering. If you want to put that fetus in an artificial womb and try to keep it alive, you can adopt it, pay for that womb, pay for the child and raise it in your home. If it dies while it's in the womb, you can go under investigation for murder/neglect. Within your illegal abortion fantasy world, I mean. If you want to put that fetus in a artificial…

The government prevent people from causing self harm all the time. There's a law that says you can't self harm? Where? From banning certain drugs or mask mandates Mask mandates and drug laws are for others around you. Not you. Killing humans takes away all human rights. Yup. I'm okay with someone using their human rights, even if it takes away the human rights of the fetus inside them. Totally fine by me and the government. Because fetuses aren't as important as women.
/r/MensRights23/09/21 07:43 AM
1

I don't? Like I said, you keep it alive. I don't care how. And if it dies, you best believe you murdered it.
/r/MensRights23/09/21 06:44 AM

While you're at it ban all surgeries because with every surgery their is a risk of death. What? Why would we ban people from taking their own risks? I just don't want people to be forced to do something that could directly result in their death. It's bad for women, it's bad for the children that aren't wanted, and it's bad for men too. The fetus has a right to bodily autonomy It sure does! Bodily autonomy doesn't mean you have a right to use someone's body against their will, you know this right…
/r/MensRights23/09/21 06:43 AM
1

Mmk well they can just take that fetus out and you can keep it alive without a womb.
/r/MensRights23/09/21 06:20 AM
1

Because you are forcing people to use their bodies against their will. A human rights violation.
/r/MensRights23/09/21 05:45 AM
1

Yes abortion should be legal if a doctor says it will kill the mother. A doctor can't tell you ahead of time if the birth will kill the woman. So all abortions should be legal because every birth has a risk of death. but why would be okay Because of bodily autonomy. I'd research that term.
/r/MensRights23/09/21 05:45 AM
1

Yes, a fetus and a baby are two different things. Ones a person, the other is not. How will it be sexist if both men and women can get pregnant? If both got pregnant and you didn't allow either of them to get abortions? That would not be sexist, rather just anti humanity. With modern medicine women rarely die from pregnancy K? There's still always a chance.
/r/MensRights23/09/21 05:28 AM
1

I support abortion if the mother was going to die due to pregency so I value the mothers life over the fetus. Okay, but any birth can kill the mother, without knowing beforehand. So you agree abortion should be legal then? No everyone can feel and others don't think; will it be okay to kill them? If they are inside someone else's body, yes!
/r/MensRights23/09/21 05:26 AM
1

Fetus is Latin for offspring and it's a fact that abortion kills the fetus. Never claimed it didn't? My opinion dosen't change if Men could also get pregnan So then you'd be sexist against men. No human should kill other humans unless it was to protect themselves or others. Every single birth can end in the woman dying. So by that logic, all abortion is okay.
/r/MensRights23/09/21 05:15 AM
1

Well duh they are both human. Yet you value the fetus above the mother? Weird when it can't feel, think, or even know it's alive. But somehow that life is more important than the life of a woman to you. I don't care about artificial wombs.
/r/MensRights23/09/21 05:12 AM
1

Abortion kills the baby. No one should be legally allow to kill another human unless it was to protect themselves or others Abortion doesn't kill babies. You said abortion shouldn't be legal, making women less than people to you.
/r/MensRights23/09/21 05:09 AM

I don't care what he thinks he sees them an, if he doesn't think they get bodily autonomy, he doesn't see them as people. Same to you.

Ohhhh so you think women are incubators too. That makes sense actually.

Why would I admit I'm wrong when I'm not? Sorry you care more about a man's right to cum where he wants and abandon any kid he helps make, more than a child's wellbeing. why do you think cumming equals consent to carry the pregnancy? Are you talking about the for the man or woman? Where do you draw the line if say the woman has made a hole in the condom? Yes, that's a breach of his bodily autonomy. It should be illegal if it isn't already. Or what about if the man doesn’t cum inside her but she still gets pregnant (precum)? That's different, condoms protect against precum so that means he was rawdogging it like an idiot. So he'd be 50% responsible for any subseq…

It's annoying arguing with you, "you cannot read" what a great argument, obviously you can never be wrong Well when you purposefully twist my words to make yourself look smarter or more moral, that's what you get. The main argument was should a man pay for a child they did not want. Cool, and I disagree. If he came in her vagina consensually , he is 50% responsible for the child he helped create. Pretty simple. A woman can kill a child I mean not legally, no. She can terminate a pregnancy, but t…

So now use that same logic “that’s a separate part from sex” but apply it to using a man’s seamen to have a baby without his consent. Okay, so having sex doesn't consent to making a baby, but cumming inside her does. That's what I've been saying this whole time. Why is cumming separate from sex but carrying a pregnancy isn’t? Wut? Who said pregnancy in a part of sex? If anything cumming is an act that is part of the sexual act whereas carrying a pregnancy to term is a separate act, so it’s even …

Why does he need separate consent to cum in her? Because that's law. It would be breaking her rights of bodily autonomy. I’m sure you’ve realized by now that you have reached the opposite conclusions with inconsistent rationale with regards to stealthing vis a vis consent for sperm to make a baby. Nope? Please explain. Your point earlier was that you cannot separate consent for sex with consent for using sperm for making a child Yeah, I can, it's the putting the cum into the vagina part. That's …

I mean the women suffer for their decision as well. are at fault for the suffering of the child not the man who opted out. I'm not gonna bother to reply to your other comments cause I don't think you'll be able to understand so I'm not going to waste my time. I already elaborated enough. And to conclude myself, men can't run away from financial responsibility if they cum in a vagina and she gets pregnant and given birth, and women can't run away from paying child support if the man gets full custody. It's equality, and if you can't understand or see that it's equal, just, and fair, and it should be like that, then I…

You mean sneakily cumming in a vagina? Or sneakily stealing sperm to inseminate oneself? Yeah that for sure needs to be illegal.

So are all of you. No one said abortions are for fun. And I’m not saying to force a woman to get an abortion. I know you don’t hate men, but Jesus you seem hellbent on not understanding what every single person is saying. Which at a certain point seems like you have a strong reason to not understand it. I feel like you insinuated it was super easy for everyone, which I may have misunderstood. Okay, so you just really want people to get abortions, so what? They'll still do what they want. I mean,…

It's both their decisions. I hav…

Women don't kill children in abortions? Only fetuses. No pain, no feeling, they didn't even know they existed. Now when you abandon a kid, that kid is now directly negatively effected.

Because children exist in the world, men shouldn't have any rights I never said that? Try not to argue in bad faith, how about? Any man ever who is accused of impregnating a woman should be held responsible I mean if their dna matches the kid, yeah men should be held responsible for their actions. Such a crazy idea, I know! So basically everything is the man’s fault even if the woman lies, No, it's both of their faults. women have the decision to get out of a life changing situation, Due to bodily autonomy, which both genders have. and men don’t deserve that choice Sure they do! If they get pregnant, they can abort :) Yeah totally reasonable argument and thought process XDDDD Well when you make shit up and try to pass it as what I've said, yeah that would sound stupid!

You sound so rapey lmao. No does most of this sub when they talk about women. So. A man who uses protection during sex but it still smh ends up impregnating her has at no point consented to having a child together. Absolutely correct! In this case, I'd fully support the government taking responsibility of the child, but at the same time, that won't actually happen in real life. So that kid would probably just suffer. Exactly! SHE wants to keep it so SHE must make sure HER financial situation is capable of handling HER decision. She is, by qualifying for child support :) You talk about holding men accountable while simultaneously absolving women of the consequences of their decisions. Uhm how so? The woman in this situation is taking almost all the responsibility of the child. All the man has to do is pay for the thing he helped create.

Consent to sex is not consent to parenthood. That's why women can abort. Sex doesn't always lead to cum in a vagina. That's why women can abort. No, that's bodily autonomy. It's pretty relevant seeing as a baby is a person with people rights and a fetus is not. men don't have to pay child support for a clump of cells You're right, they don't, not until it's a baby. If men decided to be the parent then only we should consider it a human. Seems very to me. Wut?

So because one thing is bad we gotta make it bad for others? This kind of thinking is just how we got ourselves here.

Now that sounds like the job of a real lawyer, but personally if I were like king of the world, that would be only one murder.

Nope, like I said, the law always assumes that she wanted it. She can cancel an appointment or not take a pill even if she was prescribed it. She could change her mind at any time. Well unless she's murdered of course.

Incorrect You are forced by law to drive in a car? Where's this law? We do require people to do things that carry some risk. Not by law we don't. We don't tolerate killing people just to avoid some vague sense of danger Nope, but we do tolerate killing fetuses because of the knowledge that any birth can end in death. For either of them. Life doesn't come with a guarantee that you will be safe. Never said it did? But you can't force someone by now to do something they don't want to do and that so…

No because I'm a person and not inside of you. You forget most of the characteristics of being pregnant......

I love how you're getting downvoted for saying women shouldn't be forced to give birth on a men's rights sub that claims they don't hate women.

It definitely is! But that because we assume that fetus is wanted. If given her way, the woman would have given birth to a person. So the murderer took her choice away twice. Hence the two murders. It's all about the woman's choice.

Cool I'll take it out and you keep it alive with your womb then. Have fun!

Yeah not because a fetus has been murdered though. Read about it. They charge for two because they assume that fetus was wanted. That wanted fetus would most likely become a person, if it were up to the woman that was murdered. So you took her choice away, twice. Hence the two murders. See? It's all about the woman's choice. Her body, her choice.

Taking your child to school carries a chance of you dying. No one forces you to do this. That isn't an excuse to let your kids go uneducated, You can be educated without ever driving a car or being in a car. nd it is certainly not an excuse to straight up kill them. What? Why would I ever kill a child? I'm going to need a bit more than "a chance" of dying. No you aren't. childbirth is really quite safe now Tell that to the women who die every year from childbirth. Again, sorry you don't get to f…

How is something that can't think, feel, or even know it's alive more important than the life of a woman?

, ending a developing life inside a womb would also not be killing a human because it can not sustain itself yet? No it's definitely killing a human. It's just not murdering a person.

Growing baby in a womb is not "stuff" first of all. Sorry how about if I say things. Fetuses are things. human life Well yeah, a plant cell isn't a human cell. But you just placed a species name in front. So a human sperm cell is human life. Human is our species. That's all. it won't be a human It already is human. It has human cells. DNA is what makes the species. It has human dna, it's a human cell. it will grow into a baby Not without a womb it won't. Hence the my body my choice argument. you…

You sad on week 23 it can survive outside of a womb, before that it can not think or feel anything, you are clearly connected those 2 notions, If you thought that, I cleared it up in my last comment. I'm pretty sure being alive is important to the definition of "murder", It's actually not. Being a person is what's important. you killed it. Exactly. Killed it. Killing stuff isn't a crime. Whether or not they feel you killing them is actually not important I think it very different. This is why we…

If it can not survive outside of womb, how does it mean that it can not feel or think? I That's not the reason it can't feel or think, not being developed is the reason for that. It clearly has brain, blood, heart, nerves and can even move inside the womb waay before 23 weeks. Yes, but they aren't fully connected to the spinal cord. Hence the fact they can't think, feel or have sentience. Inability to survive outside of the womb does not corelate to it being alive. Never said that? It's been ali…

At ~23 weeks is when the fetus, now baby, can survive outside of the womb. Before then, it cannot think, feel, or even know it is alive.

1 nested comment out of 230 in total Im sure if I looked for more than 1 whole minute I'd find 20 more. they're lazy or 2. they don't have enough mods Or, or the mods don't care about misogyny. I guess they could down the genzedong route and have a bunch of bots delete any content that so much as contains the wrong word. Or just do the job that they themselves signed up for and mod their sub. There's also the possibility the mods just don't see comments like that as misogyny. I agree, sometimes …
