5	i feel really bad for men right now. as a black person, i get what it feels like to be treated like you’re a monolith. It's great to hear this view point from a woman at this time. We will of course get accused of twisting the narrative around a debate that these people chose to start. To me this is quite simple, a police officer who was clearly mentally ill acted out his mental illness. It is not a gendered issue. This could be addressed by regular mental health screening of police officers, by questioning why an officer is operating alone, but not by making this about the officers gender. 11	I know this seems like an impossible task, but.... can we attempt to make a truce with the feminists subreddits? That sub attacks a perfectly valid way to be a man, traditional masculinity. As men, we should have a choice to either find a new identity OR to keep with more traditional values, not to bend to however feminists believe modern men should be. 1	I'm baffled that feminists can't understand the hypocrisy when it comes to the subject of "objectification". I think the difference between being able to sexuslise themselves and being serialised by others is understandable, but if you expand from sexualisation/objectification to all forms of human commodification, where mens material worth is a measurement of the human worth, dateability AND male sexual value we can see that the feminist view that this is gendered in a single direction is flawed.
