They should just replace all these stupid gender role enforcing dances with the idea that if you like someone you ask them out it doesn't matter what gender you are or what gender the person you are asking is.

I think you should talk to the women who are making the comments and tell them in a very calm and matter of fact way that you are being made uncomfortable because of them. Tell them that you recognize that they meant no harm (if you feel this is true). If they are reasonable they will stop, if they are not talk to management. And like everyone has said document everything.

Everyone gets treated like shit. However it is usually in different areas. It all stems from our constructed gender roles. Men are seen as strong so they are treated like they should be able to take anything and keep their emotions inside. Women are seen as weak and needed to be taken care of because of this they are seen as incompetent and vulnerable. It disadvantages everyone.

I have never been against forced circumcision I just think it is not right to make one better or whole while the other is wrong. Your logic seems to be that I should sit back and allow myself to be considered inferior. And if you ever meant your comment to not be condescending and childish you did a awfully shitty job of it.

As a man who was circumcised and does not feel it has adversely affected me in anyway, I find that saying that I am "unintact" is somehow meaning I am not whole or not correct so I must disagree with this and say that we must find a neutral way to describe things.

I think the OP of the original non parody version was just saying she thought it was kind that he was putting her mind at ease instead of saying that it was courteous that he "didn't rape her". I don't think she wanted to claim that all guys are creeps or something (though sometimes in TwoX you can get that vibe) but wanted to say how he went above and beyond to tell her that he didn't mean any harm.

She at least was coming from good place but I think how she worded was poor and does sound very sexist. But I agree that there does need to be more female representation in politics in terms of actual people since women's issues are generally the only gender issues discussed. So in short I believe we need more women representatives but men's issues need to be given more attention then they have now.

I find this quite interesting seeing as how if it were a woman card there would be an uproar by feminists saying that the patriarchy is controlling their lives. This type of behavior that shames men or women for alternative lifestyle choices harms everyone. Anyone who claims they are for equal rights should take offense to anything like this regardless of the gender being discriminated against.

Also they had no other groups they did not have single men, gay men, women or any other major variable so the findings seem quite skewed. For a study like this to be considered valid it needs to have a control and since there is none I believe its findings to be non scientific
