Twitter user "FatLady Femzilla" destroyed on twitter in discussion about whether "Masculinity is in crisis".What a load of mental gymnastics to interpret this the way you have. Your reading of this is scary. RE does not pretty much tell FLF to "fuck off". RE thanks her for participating and suggests that her first point is a valid question. The reality is quite different from the way you mischaricatrise it. If anything FLF speaking about "privilege showing" and " it must hurt trying to defend criminality" when RE has done no such thing is douchey. In order to justify the conclusion in the context of M… | /r/MensRights | 01/03/18 10:25 AM
Twitter user "FatLady Femzilla" destroyed on twitter in discussion about whether "Masculinity is in crisis".I apologise for the use of destroyed, that was a little click baitey by me. I will refrain in the future as I agree it is a bit much. Yeah agree that it is important to get the message out!. | /r/MensRights | 01/03/18 07:51 AM
Twitter user "FatLady Femzilla" destroyed on twitter in discussion about whether "Masculinity is in crisis".I think this subreddit biggest flaw is just preaching to the choir in this little bubble of a subreddit. I would like to see more activism and putting the word out for Mens issues. Hence why I thought this was good. | /r/MensRights | 01/03/18 07:39 AM
Domestic violence double standards: Man stabbed by his girlfriend says hospital staff asked if 'he deserved it' - and some people still don't believe he is a victimLike the intent behind this. This sub needs to be more proactive. No good preaching to the choir all day. | /r/MensRights | 19/02/18 09:07 AM
| – | That “male privilege” thoughYeah both people behaved badly , but the fact OP mad misrepresented the facts of the first one is why I am going to unsub. Just because she didn't get jail time doesn't mean he didn't deserve to. | /r/MensRights | 13/10/17 06:15 AM |
I had a conversation where a guy said men don't know what they wantWell done OP. No point sitting in this sub and preaching to the choir. You put a civil and intelligent response across. | /r/MensRights | 09/08/17 01:11 PM
Apparently Homelessness is only a Problem if you are a Woman.Yeah if there is a source I need one. It would be the perfect response to when feminist say feminism is good for men. | /r/MensRights | 21/03/17 09:40 AM
Flawed feminist survey designed to justify more feminist intervention in the private lives of UK studentsI have just taken the survey. | /r/MensRights | 21/11/16 12:09 PM
Is it fine to you people of I am a feminist?Depends on your definition of Feminism. The idea that women should be equal is one that I think we all hold. However unfortunately a lot peoples definition of feminism seems to include an element of prejudice against white males and a desire for special treatment and not equality. I think that will be less well received here. Furthermore, there is a lot of vapid and brain dead theory in the feminist movement, Mansplaining, that women don't get equal pay, and the refusal to acknowledge the negati… | /r/MensRights | 17/07/16 08:37 AM
I support the legal system, therefore I hate women.Well done man. We need to have a sensible voice put out there instead of letting this anti-intellectualism go unchallenged. | /r/MensRights | 21/02/16 11:28 AM
Have been asked to write an article on domestic violence against men for a high end family law firm.Horrible and disgusting. However (thankfully) this is not part of UK law so is not pertinent for my article. | /r/MensRights | 02/02/16 10:09 AM
Have been asked to write an article on domestic violence against men for a high end family law firm.I would be interested in including this in the article. How did you arrive to the above conclusion? | /r/MensRights | 02/02/16 10:01 AM
I have been asked to write an apology to my University's 'Liberation Society'Your apology is pretty spot on. My concern is that it is pretty long, I wonder if people who oppose you will entertain what you are saying for soo long. | /r/MensRights | 19/11/15 01:36 PM
Good MRA twitter accounts to follow? Not a lot of answers here. I will post my own shortly. Also have we considered a r/mensrights twitter profile? We could share the password and take some of the energy and ideas from this sub to twitter. Once we sort out the practicalities this would be a great way to get our voice heard. edit: @Equal1tyPlease. Feel free to follow. Channeling a lot of this sub | /r/MensRights | 19/11/15 10:45 AM
I created the first Men's Issues Awareness Society in Durham, UK, so here's an update. Also, for our first fundraising effort we will be doing a sponsored 24 hour rough sleep to raise money for a local homeless charity, any donations would be greatly appreciated! Not much to say, but seriously well done. Am pleased to see a bit of activism on this site. At times it feels like we are just preaching to the choir. I am in the south of the UK, but let me know if I can help. | /r/MensRights | 12/11/15 01:45 PM
Starting an on campus MRA group. What do I need to prepare for in advance?A very good point. Sadly due to misconeptions about MRAs this is often the first thing to come up. Definitely worth being prepared for it. | /r/MensRights | 03/11/15 04:26 PM
Starting an on campus MRA group. What do I need to prepare for in advance?Have prepeared answers ready to misconeptions about the movement. -We don't hate women -Just becuase some men are living well, does not mean man does not have our own gender issues. Also at the early stage, try to keep the focus on mens rights issues and definetely not attacking feminism, otherwise you will be crucified. | /r/MensRights | 03/11/15 12:25 PM
Issues I see with MRM, an important movement. Not sure why there is so much push back on this. Regardless of whether or not we do these things, the above is the standard to which we should hold ourselves to stop our movement getting sloppy and innaccurate like the feminist movement. | /r/MensRights | 03/11/15 12:23 PM
#MasculintySoFragile trending on twitter.Men are being mocked for having feelings. | /r/MensRights | 23/09/15 04:03 PM
Why is it that the media shows a man getting hit in the testicles for comedic purposes often, no matter the context but they never do the same for women?Respectully disagree. It is pretty much a TV Trope at this point. Edit: Sorry, just saw you said you wanted examples http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ShareTheMalePain | /r/MensRights | 18/09/15 09:51 AM
Why is it that the media shows a man getting hit in the testicles for comedic purposes often, no matter the context but they never do the same for women?People are picking you up on a techinicality but they are missing the point. Sexually assulting men or seeing them being hit in the genitals is seen as acceptable/humorous in society. Wish we as a movement could do something to change socieities perception on this. | /r/MensRights | 18/09/15 09:33 AM
Bill Cosby makes a joke about the sexual assault allegations against him during his London, Ontario, showI see where you are coming from, but you have kind of missed the point. It is not about whether we think he did it or not. It is about protecting people's right to innocent until proven guilty against the vile people outside, who have condemned him as guilty without a trial and yet despite this are still trying to harm his tour | /r/MensRights | 09/01/15 06:05 PM
