Add 5 lbs to the bar every session. The stronger I am the better I look, the easier it is to literally pickup chicks. During really playful kino I can just pick a girl up in one arm. I get compliments from both women and men impressed with my beard all the time. While some have said I would look better without it, their subsequent behavior tells me different. As for the scratchy part, trim and use a beard oil to condition it (Without doing this mine is like a Brillo pad and sticks straight out.). It will be fine. You can have a beard and look well kept.
