1	Denied! That all makes sense, as long as the premise of your argument that teachers are paid for the entire 12 months, is actually true. It may differ in your state, but where my family teach, you get paid for the school months only. I won't go into the whole cops putting lives on the line, it always feels like people used that to justify so many things. 5	Denied! Ummm, not sure where you got your info from. Parent both life long teachers, sister is a teacher, all work summers because they don't get during the summer. Also, cops work 12-14 hours and are compensated for overtime. Don't know any teachers getting paid to grade papers, mark tests, or complete reports cards in their spare time. But yeah, let's rip on teachers because it's easy!
