because it will need to be frequently redrawn That is the worst part; it's never the same. But, I can't complain. I've got a damn awesome girlfriend who puts up w/ a boyfriend who's not super mega into sex.

I agree with this wholeheartedly, but, I also have a VERY low sex drive and it's been pointed out that I'd be ok w/ NO sex (I'm not sure the trueness of this statement because i've gone w/ no sex and it's not all that awesome). So, I'm in the odd position of, "Yes, I have a lower sex drive and sometimes I need to claim my body. BUT, I am in a relationship and her needs carry the same validity as my needs." Sometimes, the line isn't clear.

I disagree. I think it is so far from being real, serious, or normal that it could easily have the roles reversed and be taken as a joke. There would be a small reaction, like what I've seen in this thread, but i think that it would be perfectly acceptable and able to be done.

"I've seen other people do it so that justifies it." People don't like the mensrights subreddit because they say it gets butthurt about inane things like this. I really love this subreddit because it shows the inequalities that are often glossed over but, frankly, this isn't one of them. This is a funny way to raise awareness of neutering and spaying pets that was obviously a joke. "Someone made a joke about cutting dicks off!" "EVERYONE MAN YOUR KEYBOARDS!"

There is no reason to get angry about something that is obviously a joke. "How do I raise awareness about neutering?" "Hey, I've got an idea, let's make a joke about me being crazy and hating ALL balls." I think it's quite funny because it's not actually something pointed at hurting men. TracyMorganFreeman asked how people would react if it were women and uteruses (sic) and I think they wouldn't react because it's a joke, and a pretty ok one. This article had points of merit, in my opinion. It really did. It addressed some issues that I feel were very honest and true. We are told, "EQUAL, EQUAL, EQUAL," and fed, "You're the man, why aren't you doing (x,y,z) for me?!" But that's not just in the dating world, it is everywhere.
