That punch and walk away thing is such a piece of shit move. Trying to be the aggressor and the victim at the same time, act like you’re being attacked if they retaliate when really you instigated. Children with anger control issues pull that sort of shit.

They’re not as far from the truth as they seem though... master turns to mister when you become a man. Miss turns to mistress when you become a wife. The reintroduction of Ms. is a good step toward removing a gender bias that does exist, though not in the way the reactionary original poster proposed.

I didn’t read any of it actually, I just wanted to make fun of OP for thinking it was necessary to suggest using zoom in the title.

Hey I can’t tell what any of it says it’s too thin and tall. EDIT: read the title again and tried using zoom. Thanks OP, crisis averted.

I mean I’m glad the gym is willing to enforce their policy regardless of gender, but it does seem a little much to say no tank tops at the gym.

It’s not wrong, you’re talking about a different person than they are.

In their defense, no one expected “gender neutral” to mean “the same three old men walking around on top of the benches 10 hours a day helicoptering”.

But how many times are we going to post this screenshot this week? I feel like I’ve seen it ten times already.

A friend posted a photo set of a few of these and I was really pleased to see that abuse perpetrated by women was being acknowledged too. It’s not okay no matter who you are or who is doing it and people in abusive situations deserve to know they’re supported regardless.

This is what I came to the comments for. Thank you.

That’s a good point. She was definitely belligerent, but she wasn’t intoxicated.

I’ll say this, the news report couldn’t hide the fact that she was a piece of shit. She didn’t get a pass... but they also really threw the teacher under the bus.

If someone is telling you they’re going to knock you out, and you raise your fists in front of you, that’s not the same as raising them to fight. That’s raising them to defend, which is even more clearly underlined by who swung first.

“Chances are” yeah, sure. I agree. It isn’t a relationship dynamic that works for most couples. Like an overwhelming majority. And I don’t think his decision was wrong, but if his response had been to say “that’s not something I’m comfortable with” that wouldn’t be wrong either. Bottom line, I just don’t think it qualifies as a PPD.

Sure, but if you’re hooking up with people you meet on tinder or whatever and then never talk to again you’re not going to develop such a strong strong emotional bond with them that it would rival your 5 year relationship. Likewise, you didn’t get into a 5 year relationship because you kissed someone and oxytocin swept you away. I’m not saying it’s a good idea either way, but what they were saying was at least coherent.

This isn’t pussy pass. She brought it up, and he reacted. She wasn’t asking for special treatment because she’s a girl, or for her to be able to sleep around and not him. His reaction is also totally valid though. If he’s not interested in a relationship with her based on that, then he doesn’t have to be in one. Everyone she already cheated, yeah maybe, and maybe he suspected that because of the convo as well, but it’s still speculation.

Sex with other people would hypothetically only be physical. Her love for boyfriend is not rooted solely in their physical relationship. This makes sense.

I was so excited because I served a congressman and his wife at my table in a restaurant near this just last week, but it isn’t the same one.

You’re ignoring the parent comment, AND the comment you’re responding to. You must be a blast to talk to.

I explicitly said I’m not talking about the officer in this gif, and then reiterated it in my edit. The comment I responded to said it should be harder, that’s the only thing I took issue with, which is why that’s what I responded to. She got knocked the fuck out. I don’t think anything harder was necessary, because she sure as hell wasn’t going to hit anyone after that.

Once again, I’m not talking about this gif. I’m talking about the comment I responded to.

Again, I’m not talking about this gif. I’m speaking generally. I never in any comment said this officer was too violent.

Are you familiar with what a hypothetical is? Did you read my original comment, or the one it’s responding to?

Clearly no one is reading my entire comment. I’m not disagreeing with the officer in the gif. I’m disagreeing with the comment I’m responding to, which implies that there is no line of brutality or violence that shouldn’t be crossed, because any amount necessary to teach a lesson is justified. THAT is wrong. Because some people are so fucking stupid that they’ll never learn. That doesn’t mean you can put them in a wheelchair.

In that sentence it would be. Slept can be used as the past tense of sleep, or the past participle. “He slept in,” or “the bed slept two comfortably.” It’s grammatically incorrect to use it to mean “caused to sleep”.

I’m not saying this scenario is over the line. But the commenter above me basically said that no line exists. That’s all I disagreed with.

Yeah I’m not saying anything specific about this video, he definitely rocked her, but she’s not gonna still be hurting from it in weeks.

I’m not making any judgement on this situation in particular. Just that there’s an amount of violence you could inflict on someone that would be unacceptable whether they learn from it or not. If someone is drunk and slaps you in the head, you don’t get to brutally assault them and leave them paralyzed, no matter how unrepentant and stupid they may be.
/r/PussyPassDenied19/03/18 04:46 PM
2

No you’re right, if they meant slept it’s grammatically incorrect.

Just because someone is dumb as fuck doesn’t mean they should be brutalized. There’s a limit, even with people like this. (I’m not saying he crossed the line, just that a line exists, regardless of her ability to learn from mistakes.) EDIT: everyone commenting on this is failing to read me entire comment or is just looking for something to argue about. I never said this officer used unnecessary force or brutalized this woman. I said some people are too stupid to ever learn a lesson, and that doe…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
