Have noticed this. Yesterday a woman posted about how she'd gone beyond her soon to be Husbands back to speak with his ex. His ex had faked pregnancy to get him to marry her amongst other things so understandly he had a bit of trauma about that relationship. When she told him he'd got angry and called her stupid. They argued and it was resolved. She wasn't asking about that but was asking about how to get the marriage with his ex annulled. Anyway... almost every response on reddit was 'he called…

I'm gonna call BS on that. I.e. the idea that a hormone stays or wears off after a period of years.

I remember reading that women start to crave variety (yes, in sexual partner) more than men do when in a relationship. Contrary to popular belief.

Most sexist sub on reddit by a mile is the 'female dating strategy' sub: https://twitter.com/FeministMisand1/status/1378048621753565185?s=19 https://ibb.co/Tm7xTH1 https://ibb.co/3BNqCsB https://ibb.co/7rM21Bf Just awful, awful people. The OP makes a very good point when reddit somehow keeps that sub up and running but frowns upon men pointing out this sort of sexism. To mock male suicide is the lowest of the low.

Affairs should definitely be taken into account. Huge indicator of character. It would be wronf for someone having an affair to thej go and get full custody unless the other partner was really horrendous.

It would be really good if as many people as possible complained to reddit citing this twitter thread and other posts off that sub which clearly breach hate guidelines. Maybe we can start something about it on here.

How does it work with paternity tests? If a man has any doubts about things can he get a test?

I'm politically left of centre and would like to see the misandrist subs banned, just as anything misogynist has been previously.

I believe that feminism in the west is largely about getting ahead and is full of misandry. So I wouldn't call myself one. Sure there are issues which affect women which need attention but I think there are now more issues affecting men but feminists couldn't care less and will just push for more and more. A lot of it is about giving themselves total power when dating and so on.

That's unbelievable. Can't believe they say 'yeah it's OK if against men'. Do they even realise how bad male suicide is right now and some of the reasons why? Everyone should check out this twitted thread about the FemaleDatingStrategy sub: https://twitter.com/FeministMisand1/status/1378048621753565185?s=19 No way would that sub exist if it were about women. No way.

It's just not. And i knew them well. It's bitter and slightly twisted thinking to have the attitude of 'oh but maybe they (victims in general) deserved it'. Be better than that. Modern feminism is bad in my opinion but that's way different from saying all women are bad.

Nah, that's not really rational thinking. I know women who've been raped who were perfectly good people.

I haven't seen any real evidence of this assertion that 'more men are raped than women'. And tbh on this occasion I don't feel I need to. It's total b*llocks.

I just don't believe that more men than women get raped sorry. I'm not saying most men don't have life very tough but sexual violence for women is higher. Don't be as biased as the feminists.

Come on mate, there are women in India being gang raped until they die. You lose credibility if you claim that misogyny doesn't exist or if it's only men who have it bad. BOTH men and women face real issues. I believe the balance has tipped now in favour of women having easier lives than men but those worst part of all is that men's issues aren't even considered important because feminism has become so powerful and more about female superiority than anything else. Misandry has become almost the …

I do believe there is a case for a women's rights movement whatever term you use to call it. Women have sh*t to deal with just like men do...a lot of men can be misogynist, can be violent, controlling etc etc. BUT, I do believe that feminism (certainly) in the West has gone so far as to become toxic. Which is why I used the word 'modern'. I believe it's important to be able to be balanced when debating a point.

Are you saying that I'm just making a convenient excuse? I can categorically say that if i want to actually be able to provide for myself in a month then this right now is all the time I can give. It has genuinely saddened me though how many men here seem like they've just given up pointing out the double standards.

That's great, but men also need to come together in numbers too. That is also what women did. I would love to spend more time on what I see as a lot of injustice but unfortunately I just don't have that time because I have so much sh*t I need to sort out in my own life right now first.

The am pretty disappointed at how much energy the men's right movement seems to lack. First time I've come here but it seems to be very much a case of 'don't play', 'they wont listen to us'. All of that is true and it's true because most men have that attitude. Women didn't. They complained for years and years when things were more against them and now things (I would say) are more in their favour and they still want more. Yet men everywhere just shrug and let it happen. Baffles me. How about so…

Any ideas o how I could get manager names for this area? what about independent complaints? Or linking to the archive link via twitter? The fact they posted something like this on international men's day is really something that is worth making a point of I feel. But if nobody else is interested (every reply so far seems that way) then I feel as though I may as well not be bothering too.

I get what you're saying, though a few MRA's not clicking on their article isn't going to change anything either surely. An yeah totally I can see why complaining to them isn't going to get the immediate reaction you want but these things do get discussed by managers and it would be good to see them have their own sexism presented to them. I do also think that twitter can be powerful for calling our organisations, but for that the men's right movement needs to be way, way, way more energised and…

You can put whatever address you want in a complaint thing and on Twitter it's not needed. I kinda see what you're saying regarding being outnumbered and not organised but my God with this attitude that's never going to change. Surely it is time men so actually organise themselves against all this BS? For me they HAVE to be called out on the double standards. I couldn't care less what they come back at me with.

Not playing hasn't worked. The BBC becomes more and more anti-male by the day. I don't even really know what 'not playing' entails. It sounds far too much like flying the white flag for me. The BBC can be held accountable by the way - you complain to them but if you aren't happy with their response (you won't be), then it can be escalated to an independent complaints commission (hell it may even be possible to go straight to them, i'd have to check). But also, twitter is good for holding organis…

Others don't though, which is why it is so important that complaints about it are made. Doing nothing = assistance. "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

I agree on the latter point. I don't agree with the first sentence. Don't walk away...make a noise about it. Point out their sexism. Publicly run organisations are simply not allowed to be sexist. So make a noise about it, be very loud and play them at their own game.
