100% I hear you with this comment. It seems men in this sub still think men should be manly and show the least of emotions.

This… I was once invited over to meet someone and said from the get go that I don’t want to have sex. Multiple times I said it. It still ended up happening. I was never asked explicitly “is this ok?” It just happened, and I felt so small and weak and like I OWED this man sex, that I didn’t stop it from happening. I felt disgusted and violated, but I also didn’t scream no and try to get him off me. So what was it?

They don’t understand that with this behavior they are just scaring away other people (especially women, like me) who want to actually advocate for men’s rights. The world is not black and white. You can support men’s rights and admit that there are issues that affect men that are not being addressed, and at the same time acknowledge that women have a right to be scared to walk alone at nigh (which was what the post was about, it’s a few months old, I’d link it but I don’t think I’d find it.)

I used to believe this sub didn’t hate women, but then I saw a particular post that made me realize there’s a lot more women haters in this sub than I thought.

How is he a hypocrite simply for explaining what the law is? Nobody said it’s a good thing, it’s just how the law is.

Thank you. I follow this sub because I care about men’s rights, and I find that in many ways they have a huge disadvantage in life. I absolutely support the movement. But, I honestly can’t help but feel scared when I’m walking alone at night and a man is walking close to me. I already had two very close encounters as a child and a teen, it’s an automatic defense mechanism to become alert. I do judge myself because of this, and I am well aware that most men will not do me harm, and many would in …

you need some reading comprehension. that’s not what i said at all. your friend is not wrong for asking for the money, his ex is an asshole for not giving it back. but that doesn’t mean all women would keep the money, like you’re suggesting. therefore, I also made a dumb assumption.

“you can at least request back” your money from a woman too, if she’s not a fucking asshole. your friends ex is an asshole, that’s the difference. and since we’re making dumb assumptions, how would I know your friend didn’t cheat on his girlfriend and she doesn’t think he deserves her time?

I’m a woman, and I regularly enjoy these posts on this sub. But this... is just stupid

I cannot for the life of me imagine having positive emotions towards kissing, or being intimate with a 13 year old. Everything about it feels wrong. She doesn’t realize how dangerous it is, she needs a lot of mental help.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
