yes but instagram is a dating app for women. your behaviour should change once you are in a relationship both towards men in the physical and digital imo. it's respect towards your partner

use statements instead of questions, ie. instead of "where are you from?" say "I bet you're from Alaska". The responses to this are: "Omg yes! How did you know?!!" --> transition into funny remark, ie I do this for a living, etc.. "Hahaha no, what made you think that?" --> bam, now she's asking you questions "No, I'm not" --> go find another girl to talk to :)

Thanks for that, for some reason I always feel like I have to lead the conversation because I anticipate that the other person is useless at holding one. I will try out the silence for them to take the reigns :).
