In mine (Nevada), you'd have to contact the Constable's Office and start the formal eviction process, which takes 30 days. I'm a cop and I deal with someone trying to kick someone else out of "their" house/apartment at least once a week. In most states, it doesn't matter who is paying rent or on the lease. You generally have to give your "tenant" 30 days notice.. and you'll usually have to get them evicted to actually make them leave. In my state, they only have to have been staying with you for a few nights to establish standing. Be very careful who you invite into your home.	/r/TheRedPill	18/08/14 12:33 AM
