Damn, you're right. I was looking in the academic search engines with "child abuse" and "by sex" and "by women" and so on... but mostly got stuff about how victims end up being... When google just does the trick. Thanks.

Well, I wish I could live things like this. Maybe it's the city or I'm doing something wrong, but men here seem far more apathetic. Something that did happen to me was I hooked up with a dude in a waiting line, we live in the same neighborhood and I'm kinda trying to have friends there... So I get his number. And he never answered me back, at all.

To be fair, Devil's advocate maybe, but still, at the end of the article she does say they revisit it every 6 months. If they do it well enough, the changes in the relationship might just as well be taken care of. Well, I doubt it, but... I agree with pretty much everything else you said.

Still, Even though it's not a win by any stretch of the imagination, in my opinion, it will allow us to gather data on what happens when privileged groups are actually put in those position. So it's at least something we can somewhat use later. Silver lining I guess.

I was thinking the same when I saw a breast cancer awareness poster in a freaking night-shop. These are everywhere. Still, I have never seen a single prostate cancer poster... Still hopeful though, maybe one day in a doctor's office.

Funny thing actually is that your superior strength is often just assumed anyways. I was pretty scrawny as a teenager, I was all brains and no brawl... but I have been seen as creepy and dangerous by some very athletic girls who would have probably been able to beat the shit out of me if they tried. ​ Indeed on average men are buffer, but you get the disadvantages of this even if you are very weak.

I also think it's important to point at the problem wherever it is. We are pretty much programmed to care for women more than men, and we need to keep reminding ourselves how the world works. First you have to show the problem exists, then you give solutions.

It's sad that I saw my father basically do that. Worked overtime a lot, did almost everything in the house and took care of 2 kids while my mother leeched him. Basically he had to pay her as if she was the one taking care of us, otherwise she would take us from him. She still owned half of his house and threatened to sell it if he didn't comply.

Well not everything has to be in the law though. Disproportionate violence will lose you a greater part of the public opinion, which can be a big disservice. Also it's probably useful so the other party doesn't press charges at all. Legitimate or not, it's best to avoid any case at all since courts are so biased. Maybe wishful thinking though.

En fait, je pensais à une cha^ine Youtube, des articles, des analyses, mais l'idée de créer un subreddit ne m'était étrangement pas venue. Yeah, MY English is pretty good, but I'm the exception. Actually it's the reason I even know about men's right... Without English I would never have heard about that. And that's just what I think should be avoided... I'm already translating a lot of stuff to my close relations, but that's a lot of work, and I can't really spread it around either.

Looks cool, I really should have learned Flemish. Just hope we can undoom it... I mean it's good that he stopped that crazy lady, but if any parent stops any crazy person from kidnapping any kind of children, is there ever any gendered problem with that ?
