Great post overall. One very minor nitpick: Learn to dance as if no one is watching. Great for getting out of your comfort zone. That's absolutely true. Learning to hold frame, to fail in the process of learning something new, and to not care about what random people think are all important things for newbies to learn—and dancing in public can help. But what about those with two left feet who really want to learn how to dance better? Would you tell someone headed to the gym, "learn to lift in pu…

I would look for some kind of legal backlash to develop (as well as a lot of moral shaming directed at BP guys) against such technology—for the same base reasons prostitution is both illegal and/or widely considered immoral behavior. If prostitution were safe, legal, and inexpensive in the west, the 10%—actually probably more than 10%, would have already checked out.

It doesn't have to. In most US jurisdictions, slanders about certain subjects carry the idea of implied damage. Sexual behavior is commonly one of them. So if you lose a judgement that you slandered someone, and the slander is in regards to sexual behavior, there is no need to prove damages, you are assumed to have caused damage. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_defamation_law#Defamation_per_se In this case, while we might all agree she is a slut, (even if the jury might not) he was a…

So a couple of things come to mind. First, unless you are a 1%-er or better swimming in disposable cash—or she makes more money than you—how the hell does she just buy whatever she wants on Amazon? Get her on a budget that limits the amount of shit she can buy. Second, I quit buying my wife expensive things and spend that money doing things together. I pick things that have a mix of comfort (things, in her mind, she thinks she wants to do) and tingles. For example, she loves the beach. We just c…

Sigh. I respond the same way every time this comes up and I see it. Sometimes I am upvoted, sometimes down. Humans are not chimps. Bonobos are as close to us genetically as chimps. They have completely different social dominance, conflict resolution, and mating strategies than chimps have. Humans have different social dominance, conflict resolution, and mating strategy behaviors than either bonobos or chimps. Drawing conclusions or making inferences about human behavior or human ev psych based o…

So if you didn't notice later in the thread below, the answer is no. My marriage is working better than it has since year one. I'm improving myself, and my understanding of RP, more every day. If the wife ever quits responding positively to my changes (and I believe that's a risk in post-menopausal women, and she just started early menopause) it will be time to pull the plug. Also, my apologies for the earlier flip answer.

Yeah. Funny thing is I was kind of meta-one-itis. I had not even thought about her since last summer, but once the process started...well it was weird. I didn't think I had those feelings anymore, but I was afraid once I got in a room with her, I'd prove myself wrong, and they'd all come rushing back. So I took steps to shore myself up, just in case. Odd thing was, once I stepped into that room, there was nothing there. It was like, "what the hell were you all worked up about." Doesn't matter no…

Well, first a comment on working women in general. The democracies and republics of North America and Western Europe don't exist in the 1950s anymore. Those days are gone. If a woman does not hold some kind of job, she is leeching off of a man, or the government, or both. I consider the bulk of the married women who do not work that I know to be leeches. They are in BP marriages, and don't put nearly the effort into running a household that a 1950s wife did. Considering the number of husbands in…

In retrospect you are correct. I thought, and still do, that the question itself was kind of asshole-y and not germane to what I was asking about. But I should not have responded the way I did. Engaging /u/ElGuapoMiguel in a discussion of why I didn't think it was germane would have been more productive. /u/ElGuapoMiguel my apologies for not behaving in a civilized manner. Not going to delete or edit my original reply though—I try to own my shit, even when it's shit.

That's true. This is a thread where I asked for some outside perspective on this particular situation—not to go into a digression about some hypothetical future one. But tl/dr for the lazy: No.

Okay, so here's the thing. If you are really, really, putting TRP principles into play and she's not responding... Either your perceived SMV is lower than hers (that is, you might have raised it to be objectively higher, but she does not realize it) or you are fundamentally incompatible and it's grating on her. That happens. I like to say sometimes your first mate is competent, but unhappy, being the mate on a cruise liner, but she'd be totally fulfilled as first mate on a barefoot charter. Diff…

As one of the previous responders said, it wasn't just about the sex. It was about getting female attention and validation. I wanted to be/feel desired by a woman again. It was pre. Although it did follow a proto-red pill blow up. I did an FR post a couple weeks backs that talks about this as part of my RP journey in more detail. I didn't. She found me. We were both in the same professional society. Once again, see my other post, but she got wind that my (48, obese, uber-beta, 1%-er income-wise)…

No, but then I've always read a fair amount. First. Read more. It's worth doing. There's a wealth of material at /r/redpillbooks that's not a "relationship", "game", or "trp" book. Read about improving your business/trade. Read classic lit. Read bios of great men. Read science books. When she gets used to you reading more, she'll pay less attention. Second, get a Kindle, iPad, laptop, etc. and buy as much TRP stuff as you can as e-books. Much less conspicuous. Every sidebar book I could get as a…

Indoor locks on bedroom and bathroom doorknobs that are in houses or hotels are usually only privacy locks. They only keep you from accidentally opening the door. There will be a hole or slot in the outside knob. Push into the hole with a hanger, bobby pin or other wire. There's a button inside. Push the button with the wire. Some slots are meant to turn, a few function like the hole kind. Use a small screwdriver or sometimes a butter knife in the slot and either turn it like a keyed lock, or (r…

Reading through the comments, you are getting a lot of good advice. You don't need cardio to lose weight. You don't need cardio to get stronger. You don't need cardio to build muscle. If you don't program correctly, cardio can slow down strength and hypertrophy gains. But I do advocate doing cardio. Part of TRP is becoming a whole, competent, confident man. You will, in your life, encounter "fight or flight" situations. And sometimes fleeing to fight another day is the better part of valor. Espe…

Nothing. You can't learn anything about Red Pill from the apes. That's because Red Pill is all about sexual strategy, and the sexual strategy of all the species of great apes, including humans, is different from the others.

Just stop right there. The mating behavior of humans and our closest ape relatives is vastly different. Humans tend towards serial monogamy, with both sides "cheating" to get reproduction advantage. Women are always sexually available, fertility (and thus paternity) is obfuscated. Gorillas are polygamous. There is an Alpha. He gets all the sex. It's obvious when females are fertile. Chimps are polygamus, mostly polyganous. The Alpha gets most of the sex, but not all of it. "Cheating" occurs ofte…

It depends. Is the choice we get married to the same person, with the same results? Because my marriage resulted in two fantastic kids, young people in their 20s, who so far seem to have their shit together. And I could never choose a path that didn't include their creation. But were I given a do over and told: "there's no way back to your original future, that path is closed", then no I would not. Funny story. I told my parents when I was around 21 I would never get married or have kids. Four y…

Oh yeah. She cut me out of the herd of nerdy white guys like a lioness on a wounded zebra. She overheard a friend I'd confided some things to make a comment about my marriage. Expressed sympathy and empathy to get me to talk to her about it. Asked me out for drinks to talk more. Lather, rinse, repeat several times over the course of a couple months, and one evening at the bar she invited me to her place. Looking back, she started to pull away when I told her that I was probably getting divorced,…

Yeah, tough situation. The eye roll works best when he is still there. And it has to be amused. If you've already broken frame, then go to the eye roll later, it doesn't work. If you look exasperated, not amused, it doesn't work. So much of this is situational. The advice to ignore can work—unless he is the kind of asshole that won't let go. The advice to to call the bouncer doesn't work if he's a regular and you are not. Calling a manager or bouncer on me in my two regular watering holes—even i…

If you are ever in the situation again with another girl, FrameWalker's #2 isn't bad. In similar situations when out with the wife, I have done one of two things. Ignore him. Catch her eye and roll your eyes. Give her a "can you believe this d'bag" look. She'll either play along with you, or continue to play along with him. See below. Start to agree and amplify, then jiu jitsu. Especially useful if he's playing to an audience. Example: "Hell, I don't know why she's out with me either. She usuall…

Thanks, and rationally, I know what you are saying. The need for external validation is hardwired into us—it's a useful feeling when you live in a hunter-gatherer band of 100-300 people. In modern times you have to use reason to judge when it's an appropriate emotion. That happens with a lot of our emotions and behaviors. Like today when our asshole marketing manager tried to undercut me in a meeting. It would have been so great to throw a flint spear through his guts and pay off his family with…

a 'nice' guy would be all broken up about his affair Yeah. Still have mixed feelings. Though not perfect, I try my utmost to make my word my bond. I broke it. I also believe Dan Savage is right about it being okay to be monogamish in some cases—though he and I disagree about some things. That's how I justified my affair at the time, though it was not really the case. My married sex life was fixable, I just didn't know how. The affair (well, its ending) catalyzed all the positive changes I've mad…

And still you get a lot of conflicting advice here... I would say if you are quite thin, you are "untrained". You can go here to get an idea of how you measure up. http://www.strstd.com/ If you are less than 1/2 way through novice level, a beginner linear program will still help you progress faster than some complicated body part split you found on Muscle and Fitness. Your first six months should be about learning how to do the lifts correctly, and building some strength up so when you start a t…

Sure, it's possible to be more "alpha" than someone who is physically stronger than you. It's common for the AMOG to not actually be the absolute physically strongest in the group. It's almost impossible for the Alpha in a group to be the physically weakest man in the group. Being strong and fit helps you stand with good posture without having to think about it. Other men are more likely to show submissive body posture, or at least treat you as equal. Being strong helps you toss a woman around t…

The other fun thing is, the sequels reveal women's propensity to delude themselves about what they think they want—not what they really want. Buy the end of the trilogy, the aloof, dominant man is now domesticated. They have a child together, one he initially did not want, and another on the way. Plus he has a big emo scene where he pours out his heart over mommy and the older woman who introduced him to BDSM. Woman meets dominant alpha, but by the end of book three, he's playing BetaBux®

If you already have good posture, follow the advice in the book. If you have bad posture (I did, 30 years in an office chair), here is what I did. My forward head posture is gone, and my APT/TK combo is about 80% better than it was a year ago. I did this for a while instead of my regular lifting routine. http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/sports_body_training_performance_repair/neanderthal_no_more_part_iv Then when done, incorporated some of the lighter core, shoulder, and mobility work…
