To exit a conversation, it'll happen without reason sometimes. ie a drunk friend pulling me to the side, leaving her to herself for a bit. Other times when I know things are going well, I'll say something like, "Give me a minute, I need to talk to this guy." And separate for a short bit. When I refer to closing I mean, getting the number, going back to her place, taking her up on provided offers, things of that nature. I just don't seem to fully pull through in most stages.

Would flaking on your number count as them never texting you back? If that's the case that keeps happening to me.

I'll keep that in mind for next time, if she does show up. Thanks!

This girl came into my work and said I was always nice to her when she came in. Just out of nowhere, and she said it as if it was a monologue that spilled out. I ended up talking to her and she seemed pretty cool, got her name (but forgot! EEK!). She came in 2 or 3 nights later and went to the counter to get my attention. After getting it I just said how I didn't recognize her at first mainly due to something blocking my sight. We chatted for a bit but we were closing so I just said I'd see her …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
