I described my marriage. You can call it relationship. But, I am married legally. 'Til death do us apart is' just a ritual. It doesn't have any practical implications. I also found it disturbing but didn't fight for changing this stupid expression. Everyone knows about the divorce rates. 'Til death do us apart' doesn't bind anyone in any way when divorce is on the table. But yes, you are right about this. It's a vow. I also vowed my wife "I am not responsible for your happiness. It's your respon…

Here is my case. You can decide whether it is an obstacle for going my own way or not. First of all, I totally agree that a classical marriage exactly the opposite of MGTOW. I am not a customer of such a bs marriage. On the other hand, some women don't like this problematic gender roles. In my marriage, our vows do not include in obstruct to going our way. Respecting each other's will, preferences is the key for us. I don't own my wife, and she doesn't own me. Moreover, I never vowed for a tox…

I definitely don't belong r/marriedrespill I don't get why you think a married person can't go it's own way?

I agree. I am a married person, and I have been always a MGTOW. I didn't sacrifice everything for my wife. We both have our borders. We respect each other. My wife isn't an obstacle for going my own way.

In this case, this sub isn't your best place to learn "your enemy". We aren't women hater (I am a married man and mgtow). This sub doesn't like women haters. That's why, it's mgtow 2. Red pill rage towards women isn't a healthy point of view, and we are aware of it. You may see some examples of twisted men here but it's not general characteristis of this sub. Original mgtow is a better place for "knowing your enemy".

If we are talking about literal meaning of the feminism, it's not. It's basically about gender equality. My field is close to gender studies and I am a little educated about it. I have female friends directly studying Ph.D on gender studies, and they like men. On the other hand, there are women who understand feminism as hating men. It's a fact. They are really bad examples of feminist women. If this group is your definition of feminism, I agree with you. But, as I said, the literature doesn't d…

I think when you say know the enemy, you mean societal problems, right? It's a good point of view.

As a man, I agree your point. I like and support women empowerment. It is good for men because powerful women can carry themselves, and can help others more. In addition, a powerful women can help a man who she is with.Besides, when a powerful woman is abused, she can defend herself better, too. Feminsm is kind of women version of mgtow (not the angry man version).

It is rude. But, I wouldn't mind much. This is still a sexist manner. She can't assume every man is a potentially rapist as an Uber driver. You should be able to file complain about this manner to Uber. At least, with I would write this as a feedback to her Uber profile.

I am a PhD student and my experience with female friends is a bit different from yours. You are correct that Ph.D people are tend to get marry with another Ph.D. This is true for both gender. Males are preferring Ph.D female spouses. On the other hands, my female PhD student friends are dating with completely normal people who has high school, or college degree. They don't care much about their education level. One of them is getting married with a guy who is working at GAP as a salesman. My fem…

You are making a huge generalization. There are many women out there who loves their man a lot, helping them in many way against life problems and supporting them in their bad times. There are many women who are tolerating shitty men and supporting them, loving them even though this is a huge burden for them. Hating a gender flat-out is an ill-perspective. That's of the reasons we are mgtow - 2 here.

Yes, it exists. I do believe there are great women out there also. But, there are abusive people among both men and women. They can fall in love, but still their relation can be toxic.

There is no an easy escape. We all pay for our bad choices in life. However, you are still not married. Your escape is not as hard as someone who is married and have children. But, if you are not happy in this relationship, you have to do it! This is inevitable for you. How she feels is not your problem. How she manages the separation is not your problem. But, as others suggested, let her know what is waiting for her. She needs to know.

I think same, too. Identify politics is so sick. Some women try to make convince you to do some BS by using it. If you have a rational, you need to explain me. Otherwise, I don't buy it. I don't buy when a woman says "you can't understand because you are not a woman! We women are like this, you can't understand" I told of my ex-gf "tried to explain me. Let's see whether I will understand or not"

I unsubscribed from the red pill and mgtow because there are a lot hate against women there. I don't have a problem with women. I am just "going my own way". I don't wanna hate anyone.

In my case, as a married man, I don't hate women. I mostly like people. I have many great women friends. I was always mgtow. I never chased a girl and insisted on a girl to being with me. In my marriage, there is no harm for me. I don't let my wife abuse me. I feel I am always responsible for my own life. If she is not happy with marriage, it's her decision whether getting divorce or not. Btw, my wife is a good person and tries to help others. She is nice. But again, I don't let her cross person…

What if they are just 2% of all terrorist attacks and 98% of the terrorist attacks are coming from non-muslims? What if your media channels don't show other muslims reactions to those attacks because it doesn't bring rating? What if muslims don't call themselves "moderate" muslim because they just see themselves just a muslim?

What you said is a so classic argument that numbers says it is wrong. (just as the numbers in the link above). Besides, c'mon we just condemned Las Vegas killer together! It's so fresh. I feel sad about this kind of incidents. It's our lost not only your lost.

As a Muslim, I think, this sub reddit have great people. I see this as Mgtow brotherhood. But, it is sad to see people racist against Islam. I only feel sad about my mgtow friends. Having such a huge hatred something that you don't know won't make it easier to "going their own way".

I don't know you so can't call you with anything actually. Islamic literature calls Christians and Jews as "people of book", not infidel or anything like that. You can think as you wish. I am telling some people in the Turkey "you can't generalize what some American's bad action to all of them. There are many great people there even if some of them did really bad things to the world". Here is one of my observation : some media in Turkey also demonize western world just as some media channels in …

You are just talking what media shows you. https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/8718000 Here is a quote from link : Non-Muslims make up the majority of terrorists in Europe: There have been over one thousand terrorist attacks in Europe in the past five years. Take a guess at what percent of those terrorists were Muslim. Wrong, now guess again. It’s less than 2%.

A muslim is here. No, you are wrong. Muslim don't have such a culture. I lived in the Turkey until age of 25. In fact, Islam don't see anyone as circumcise. People born as innocent in Islamic belief. Just a reminder, around 1.8 billion Muslims live in the world. Even if you find a small case that fits what you told, you can't generalize to 1.8 billion people.

If you feel regret for your marriage, there should be something wrong seriously. The first months of my marriage was like hell for me. You know, people say "you need to do sacrifice in marriage and give up something..." I did this. But later, I started to feel that it doesn't make sense to do sacrifice irrationally. I wasn't feeling good about my marriage. I felt a huge regret for getting married. Then I started to so what I wanted. I gave up doing stupid sacrifices. Of course, my wife told me s…

I do believe harmful effect of the social media. Society has serious issues with that. On the other hand, I am a graduate assistant at Life Long Learning /Adult Education Ph.D program. I have a lot of women colleguages, classmates. We talk and discuss about social issues. What I see is that there are a lot of women who hate distorted image of the women in social media and Brazilian TV series. They hate "princess" women. They work hard for the sake of the people's benefits. They really do great t…

You are right about exposuring abusive relation for a long time should be really harmful. For the 6 months of my marriage, it was like this. But, we all experince undesirable threatment in our life. I thought in this way. I didn't let my wife yell me (I left home once she did this and told her I am leaving because I don't have to listen your shout. She didn't do again) This requires serious awareness about this situation. I read a lot of studies about marriage. They helped me about to understand…

I am sorry for your childhood. I also had a step mother and she wasn't great. When people say "I wish I would be a child again!", I say no hell! I never say I child should take the responsibility. It is completely a sensetive case. On the other hand, please don't fell that your life is ruined. I do believe you are way stronger person now. It is hard to hurt you anymore because you lived the worst before. For my case, this is true. I am always greatful for my life because I am not a child anymore…

Lying during divorce case is completely unacceptable. I think, modern law is problematic and should be fixed. This is really a huge problem. Court destroys a man in a divorce case. I think, this is one of the main reasons for men choosing mgtow. If laws wouldn't try to destroy man, it will be less risky and man can try their chances for a relation easier. Laws is a huge issue here. There are a lot of great man who suffered this a lot. Normally, I would say "there are bad men and women in the wor…

We can't generalize this. There are great women's, too, like great men exist. I have met and dated some of the them. I admired their way of life. Personally, I wouldn't insult women with such a sentence. I respect women as any other human being. There are good and bad ones, as any other human being.

I shared some of my girl friends (real friends) my ideas about this. They told me "You are great! I wish everyone thought in this way. I also don't like make up. But, if I don't make up, people in my work ask me what is wrong, you look so tired!" Some girls really doing because of climate around them.
